Im with cate, i was about DGP's age when i had miss T, and i've done the dishes most nights since then...

If i could choose it would be the following but they would HAVE to be made by my OH

Eggs Benedict , poached eggs, holandaise (sp) sauce.. with a serve of buttered mushrooms and grilled tomatoes and spinach on the side..

and a glass of fresh pineapple juice... In other words my breakfast once a month LOL Hey im a simple girl what can i say...

re: the wine issue, i cannot do red wine, it tastes like blood to me, and gets caught in my throat. I have no idea how a drink can be thick but it's a horrible feeling going down..

White wines, i still prefer the sweeter ones ie, desert wines.. I love brown brothers the most, but wont drink it in company of my wine buff mates as i get made fun of to no end lol...

JW is crap from red label, to blue, a family friend bought me blue label for my recent birthday, i had one glass and asked if he like JW, he said very much so, so i politely told him that due to my weight loss i wasn't drinking and it would be my honour and wish that he took it home and drank it, he was more then happy to.. The real reason is i couldn't stand the taste..

I love ciders always have always will. and my other love is Jack Daniels... In fact my OH was quite worried who "jack" was until he worked out is was a drink and not a real man, when i spoke of him :P

Last meal ever????!!! Ooh that's a difficult one, but in no particular order would be...

A huge plate of scallops (with the roe on) cooked simply in a little butter and garlic.

One of my nan's massive yorkshire puddings, saving one piece to have smothered in home-made strawberry jam. And I guess to go with it would have to be nan's lamb roast with crispy roast taties, roast kumara, and boiled till they turn to mush brussel sprouts (yes I know, but I love 'em!).

For dessert, one of nan's heavenly sponge cakes filled with home-made strawberry jam and lashing of whipped cream. It was always a challenge to see if you could open your mouth wide enough to fit it in!

Dog-damn it! Why didn't I pay attention to how she cooked this stuff? It's been 15 years since she died and my mouth still waters at the thought of it.

As for drinks, a nice little bottle of pinot grigio, and several black russians!

I think I'd go with a smile on my face after that feast!

My last meal would be my all time fav

BBQ marinated roast leg of lamb, roast vegies, lots of gravy & tomato sauce.

Pavlova with lots of cream, custard, bananas & mangos.

Brown Brothers "Dolcetto-Syrah" red wine..... i refuse to drink sh*thouse wines such as merlot, cab sav as they are nothing more than over priced red vinegar.

MMMM, for me, oysters natural, crayfish, basically a seafood buffet. Pavlova if I could fit any desert in or a cheese platter.

Start of with some natural oysters, caviar and lemon juice.
Then a Quater Pounder from McDonalds.
    Finishing with Caramel Dumplings.

Knowing me .... as I do ..... nothing. I'd be too stressed to eat. However, I'd probably smoke as many ciggies as I could get into me (I'm 2 years smoke free) & drink as much as I could to be mellow or passed out when the end came.
