I'd be quite happy to go out with Christmas dinner again...

cold smoked ham and cold roast turkey with lots of different stuffings, lots of home made salads, especially boconcini and tomato but also the potato and the dill and the roasted veges (cold).

And plum pudding and brandy sauce and icecream and cream you can stand a spoon up in from Adelaide hills, and raspberries...

And hugh hamilton shiraz 2004 I think - went down like cordial. And a majella sparkling shiraz to kick off with.

Funny how I can take a sparkling red to some parties and nobody but me will drink it and when I take it to a family gathering or a gathering of my geek and wine snob friends - I'm lucky if I get any.

Life is too short to drink crap wine...

I have managed to introduce the pizza and wine group to bbq chicken pizza... mmm

PS DGP - I think your last meal would be my last because it would kill me. I can't stand coke and vodka is mostly a waste of alcohol ie if you're going to get drunk might as well do it with something tasty.

I do like potatos done many different ways though. Especially fond of hot chips with soft middles and crispy outsides and mayo. The sort of mayo made using a whole tin of sweetened condensed milk. And roast chicken.

Hmm, hungry now, whats for dinner when it's 40'C outside?

I really really hate wine. I love green label Johnny Walker though...

    DGP

I think there is a small possibility you've never had any nice wine. But it is an aquired taste. You have to have really good wine several times a week to get to like it. But I feel the same way about Johnnie Walker - only like whiskey in chocolate truffles. (Oh gone all fancy again).

I do like beer - particularily coopers. And I like gin and tonic, and I like Kahlua and Milk. And I like brandy, milk and nutmeg gently warmed when I have a cold.

I've had good quality wine, my mum loves the stuff. It makes food so great, I'm just not a fan of the rich stuff. I can only take very small shots of Johnny Walker. I prefer premixed drinks. Even though I despise actual chocolate, chocolate drinks are fantastic.
