I'm thinking in my age group, often the ones who will cheat and perform piercings on younger bodies are cheap dodgy places that don't have proper licensing etc. The puppy mill of piercing joints is off ya tree.

that one is a franchise. And like all franchises - some are better than others. But also they have to be more careful with their safety practices because they are more likely to get sued and their margins are probably so low they can't afford their insurance premiums to be too high.

The hygiene standards at a place like maccas can be pretty good even if the nutritional value of the food isn't good. It's the greasy joe joints opened up by people who have never had any food handling experience that scare me. I just watch to see how they handle money - gives the game away every time - this place they prepare food and handle money with the same (gloved) hands - so don't eat here I will get sick.

The ones that prepare your sandwich with a gloved hand and then take your money with the same gloved hand - get very loud comments from me about "WHAT IS THE POINT OF WEARING GLOVES?"

Agreed on that. Where I used to work it was: glove off if you so much as breathe on the till.
