Sadly, this forum seems rife with nastiness. I am not sure why. Things go along swimmingly for a while and then it explodes again. It certainly isn't a fun forum for the most part.

I still feel Morgan needs to clamp down hard on attitudes that are not conducive. I would think she is enjoying a relaxing holiday though and not looking at the forum regularly at the moment.

Actually it was only 1!!!! The other one was the Vic meet up thread where I said, if I am not still on ignore I would like to go. NOT A SINGLE PERSON SAID I AM WELCOME!!! That is insulting and disheartening.
Why would I want to hang around here when the Vic people don't even want to meet me and exclude me from meet ups?
No, I don't want to go anymore... but it would have been nice to know that at least 1 person didn't mind me coming along.
This was the thread I was talking about at the start...sigh

I thought it was extremely rude of everyone to completely ignore pugger when she purely asked if she could come!!!

Anyway I would have asked you pugger but Im not in Vic ....yep another sigh!

I didn't read the vic get together thread because I'm not in vic.

I did read one for Adelaide on that other forum, but decided not to try to invite myself this year. Plus they'd decided to have it on a pocket handkerchief of a park, when Victoria park is less than 500m away. I'm not into meeting strange dogs in a confined space, especially if one adds bbq food to the mix.

I didn't enjoy our local dog park christmas brekky because half the people that came turned into dog ignoring idiots and there was dog crap everywhere and dogs stealing food everywhere. I picked up six dog craps that didn't belong to my dog, I had to keep my dog on lead because people were feeding strange dogs without asking owners first, and I didn't get enough food to eat either.

We did raise $410 for RSPCA though - that was some compensation.

Note - the dog crap you fail to pick up, will be the one you step in when you're not paying attention on the next time around...

Judge - you're kidding right? No one ASKED to come - people just said they were. Go read the thread. Why does everything have to be personal about another person? Why can't some things just BE?

Im not saying it was personal about someone.

I just really think that pugger done the right thing in asking if it was okay because there are people(s) that have her on ignore and obviously didn't want to offend or make the meeting awkward.

I just think she was being polite and then got stepped on.

    My personal opinion

But if you have someone on ignore, isn't the point that you dont respond? I understand perfectly what the issue is, however, what I do not understand is why that has to be my problem?

I guess you're right GG - I mean we can still get together for a run. I went down last night and it was just me and Doof. It would be fun if we could leave all this crap out of it and make it about the dogs and having some fun
