I have tried my hardest to treat people respectfully and be civilised, but I don't think you guys are worth the effort anymore.

    ciao
Ok, enough is enough, get over yourself Puggerup! Why do you think everything is a personal attack!? I have never said anything negative to or about you. But with the whole "Poor me" attitude, I'm starting to see why people have you on ignore. Sorry, just saying it how it is.

I have a heatpack attached to my arse, and am feeling rather coherent today, so here goes.

Pugger, sometimes it helps to say how you feel; other times it seems it may not have been the wisest decision. Perhaps, like me, you may take this forum more seriously than others.
For example, some members have commented that they don't care what others say or think of them, that we are all just strangers on a computer, (too lazy to go back and quote it all, but you get the drift...)

I DO care what others think of me if those ppl matter to me. I do care if I have unknowingly or unintentionally hurt someones feelings; I do care if I have caused someone to be upset or to walk away feeling bad. If I didn't care, I would be ashamed of myself.

But perhaps you care TOO much how others see you? It has been made clear as day now who/what this thread is in relation to and it appears that someone has you on ignore, and that's just the way it is. You admit you have put ppl on ignore before, and it was your choice to take them off it, just as it is someone else's choice when and IF they choose to do so. Nothing you do or say can change that fact, Pugger.

I would also point out that most ppl surely don't just run around the forum popping ppl on ignore just for the hell of it - they would have their reasons.

I agree with Anne's comment that the perceived tone of this forum seems to run along in ebbs and flows where a period of nastiness keeps showing it's ugly head. If we were all able to communicate with each other better I don't think that would ever happen. or maybe I'm still in la-la land, and if so, it's sweet. PMSL.

It isn't a matter of faceless fingers in every case, but it very often is. People on this very forum told me I was a bad person, bad teacher, bad dog owner and inconsequential in my own life. WHy on earth would I take that seriously? If I dont take the bad seriously, how can I take the good? Wouldn't that be hypocritical?

Yes, it would be hypocritical, Occy, and that you are not.

If anyone told me those things I would be utterly disgusted. I would not, could not ever turn back from those sorts of comments. That is unofrgivable IMO.

Thank you GG. I have only had two tablets so far today, which makes me feel better in itself.

    Occy

I see it as like tuning a radio or filtering email. Just because the noise to signal ratio is bad, doesn't mean you can't enjoy the signal. Or just because there is tonnes of spam - doesn't mean you can't use a filter and enjoy the email you want.

And there is an older saying about babies and bath water.

sorry but I am quite happy not being able to read certain members posts...again it is my prerogative to ignore or not to ignore.

I thought the fan club comment was meaning...Actually I don't know what I thought. I forgot.

Clea, can Sumo and Ruby start their own fan club? I want to be vice president! They've really changed my view on staffies.
