    Jeeez, she sure is lucky!
At 11, I think I would have been interested in the Wii and games, the DS games and the chocolate!

    Merry Christmas everyone!

I got a ticket to the Byron Bay Blues Festival, a new digital camera, some lovely big coffee mugs with cat cartoons on them, a gorgeous bracelet, and the latest Charlaine Harris book.

Plus the bf managed to temporarily fix my laptop which died on me a couple of days ago (needs a rebuild so I'm told), so at least I have been able to save the hundred of photos that I thought I was going to lose (none of me, all of the dogs and horses lol). THAT was the best pressie of all! And good of him to do it on christmas day too!

From my husband I received the most gorgeous pressed opal and pearl necklace and bracelet set - It is simply stunning! I love it - and a bottle of perfume (I can't recall what it is called.... when I look at it again, I'll edit this with the name). The gorgeous spunk also hand made me the wrapping paper and a beautiful card with a very personal message inside *blushes*

My eldest daughter bought me a lovely chunky styled necklace, a business card holder for my handbag and a beautiful silver and precious stone butterfly bookmark. The youngest gave me a lovely blouse to waer with my suits at work.

My step children bought a joint present for my husband and I, a Thais style outdoor candle holder and a new Tefal toaster. It is really space age! Our good toaster blew up a few years ago and we have just had a cheapy ever since, but it hardly fits anything in to it and it only cooks 2 slices at a time. The new one even defrosts, re-heats and will toast bagels!

My eldest step-son and his wife from my first marriage gave us a joint present to. A lazy susan, which will be really handy for our table as we have a large 8 seater square dining table. We also received a night at a hotel in Kiama and a photo frame from my MIL, and a subscription to Vogue Entertaining and Cooking for our Kris Kringle (we do a Kris Kringle with my husband's side of the family as there are so many people).

It's all over for another year though. We have been non-stop since Xmas eve. Because our familiies are so extended we have Xmas eve, Xmas Day and Boxing Day as our Xmas 'Days'.
