Red face Ignoring the Dog to Play on the Computer

    Hi all

Was just wondering, does anyone else (occasionally) ignore the dog so they can read dog forum or play on the computer?

I think this is why the dog bed in the office looks like a fluff explosion - because I'm not paying quite enough attention to the dog when she starts ripping it up.

Trouble with me and computers is they do tend to get ALL of my attention for hours if I don't have something to stop me. And puppy dog Frosty is getting very good at getting my attention. Like barking loudly and jumping on me. She can get her paws on my shoulders when I'm sitting in the chair facing away from her.

I use a wireless laptop in the lounge room so I am still in the hub of things and not in a room like I was before with the old Desk top.

Pretty tells me when she wants attention by putting two feet up on my lounge chair. That is my signal to place it back on the coffee table and pat, talk to her. Sometimes I may be in the middle of a post. lean forward and reach out to type a letter and I get a nose under my hand flicking it away to go on her head.

Any posts made under the name of Di_dee1 one can be used by anyone as I do not give a rats.

If I am in the middle of something, I will tell Rufus to go away. If I am doing something silly like playing a game or visiting facebook or a forum - I will finish the sentence and then give him attention.

If I'm lucky they will all be asleep by the time I log on, but sometimes one of them will want to come up to "help" me read or type. They take their supervisors role very seriously!
