LOL, oh well, all good things must come to an end. Gotta be in it to win it..and all that jazz. I always say I will buy one but never do as anything I bet on (sometimes I do a melb cup bet) is a seal of doom for the horse and do not let me stand next to you if you are playing the pokies...any runs will instantly stop. Maybe if you stop interacting with me on this forum your luck will change...LMAO.

Isn't it fun though when you get a run like that? I never have any luck but always try when there is a big prize lotto.

I am afraid I have zero interest but that is a good thing.

Ask me though who won the cup in 1984, I know that one!

I had given birth to my son that morning, was in the sweep, it was not a wonderful night and Black Knight (or is it night) won and I scooped the pool, hehehehe.

For we non gamblers it's always nice to have a little win. On the odd occasion we buy a lotto ticket most of the fun is imagining how we will spend our winnings. Our own needs are quite simple so the fantasy extends to others and is lots of fun.

I did go through a stage where I was sort of lucky with raffles. I would buy raffle tickets at dog shows and if my dogs did well I wouldn't win anything. On the odd occasion when the dogs came home with nothing I usually won the raffle. I won 2 huge Christmas Hampers, a set of luggage, a wheelbarrow full of goodies and a few other things.

My worst raffle win was at a dinner dance to raise money for our local pony club. First prize was a really beautiful painting of a horse that I really wanted. Third prize was also a nice painting of a mare and foal. Second prize was a huge hamper of baby products. Yep. I won second prize.

The terrible thing about my win was that for the only time in my life I didn't know anyone with a baby. Even my fertile extended family had no pregnancies or little ones on offer. I kept a few things like baby oil and nappy wipes (great dusters) and donated everything else to the Salvos.

Mr. 9 has just bought in the mail. One of my Chrissie cards has a lotto ticket in it. Hopefully I'll inherit your winning streak, Anne.

I went in a raffle(can't remember where) and bought 3 tickets among about 200 other tickets. I got first place. The next week I bought 3 tickets and among about 300 tickets, I won first and second place!

As I am replying to your post DH I am afraid that now goes out the window. Let me know though if you win as my angel of doom in gambling streaks for people will be OVER! lol.

Seriously though, good luck to all.
