I'm still trying to figure it out !! I have been quite happy here.. Maybe I am just used to what goes on in forums... Been in them for 6 years now and have made good friends in a few...

The only remark in this forum I personally have been very disappointed with was the comment by Rosies Mum.....

Heck Mitte, I had to go and figure out the word flounce in this situation! ROFL.

I do believe Anne has a point though (was it Anne? Or someone else?) regarding time limit on here getting to know each other's posting styles and a feel for their individual personalities. The more time I spend here, yes, the more I seem to relate to people.

Gotta admit, if a poster disagrees strongly with someone else on here who they know fairly well, it never gets nasty or uncomfortable in any way, does it?

Some have done it in order to harass a member and to be nasty in some way, some have done it for fun. Some do it so they can post alternative views and not have it relate back to them personally as they know thier views may upset.

If you are a breeder for example, and you think that some current breeding practices are really bad, you might create a fake log-in so you can air views and thoughts without people linking it back to your breeding establishment.

We had one person on another forum who created another sign in call Sue Narmi. She was a riot and claimed to be a crossdersser I think it was. She gave tips on make-up and fashion and it was really good fun. I know who she really was but never let the secret out of the bag.

Exactly, I can disagree with Deerhound, or Occy and even CHoppa and we never get nasty about it as we have a few years up our sleeves of getting to know each other. Mind you, we have never met, I have never seen them in real life (in fact I don't think I have even seen a pic of any of them) and we all live in different states. So we 'know'each other, but we don't really... if that makes sense.

    Yes, it makes sense.
