    Rosie'smum,

I'm not sure to what arguments you are referring?

I'm not sure if I have read your post correctly, either. It's not just one person, it's everybody?

We have all spoiled this entire forum for everyone? How can you seriously speak for everyone?

If anybody says anything you don't like, it's bull****, it's an insult. For your information most people on this forum get along well. Those who don't need to find a way through it.

I find your post rediculously childish, and hope when and if you do return you have a different attitude towards forums and communication.

TBH I'm rather pissed off, actually. At no stage looking back can I see that I have argued with anyone here on this thread, Rosiesmum, but that's beside the point.

How dare you post comments like that - your post is so downright rude and offensive to everyone here, but that's okay so long as it is you doing it? Pffft.

Hey DA, each of us react differently to the conflcits that occur.

Rosiesmum I feel may be new to the 'forum way of communication'. I can recall when I first started interacting on forums. Wow, it was a huge learning curve for me. It is such a different way of communicating.

I would much prefer Roseismum's tanty than the being followed around and have barbs thrown at me or have someone who doesnt know me attempt to interfere in my personal life.

I have discovered over the years that most people are great on forums. Sure, things are said here and there, but most if it works out over time. The scary ones those are those that develop a hatred, a power trip or whatever it is and they can't see that a debate on a forum is simply just that - a debate on a forum.

I have also met many people face to face from forums. They usually turn out to be completely different to what I had perceived too! Usually for the better and rarely for the worse. I have met some that I thought were real pains but in real life they were lovely.

I guess I've given up trying to figure people out now. I just go with the flow, say my piece when I feel I should, and hold my tongue when I think it is best.

I always keep uppermost in my mind that a web community is not a real representation of real life though and a debate is just a debate.

I have met quite a few from forums I am on. Luckily those have turned out exactly as represented on the forum and some have become good mates. The ones I can't stand are those behind a screen "persona" I could not be bothered, what you see is what you get, warts and all. I am also too old to remember or keep track of lies (no one meant from here, but another place.)

Any posts made under the name of Di_dee1 one can be used by anyone as I do not give a rats.

A "tanty". Hmmm, I like that description.

I guess I just don't like being dictated to about what subject we can and can't talk about. The moment someone disagrees with someone else, and a debate starts - and that's all they are: DEBATES - people jump in as if it's world war 3. Then the whole debate that poeple may have been learning from or sharing with others goes down the tube. *sigh*

I figure that's a flaw for me. I am the same. I have never been a story teller because I can't keep track of stories. On some forums I have been on, people have joined under aliases and how they remember which one the are I'll never know! They try to type differently, use different phrases, and do all manner of things to prevent anyone realising who they are, it is hilarious.

I agree Di - if one can't be one's true self on a forum, why bother. What can they achieve being anything else than themselves?

I am the same here as I am in real life, except that you can't all see the fact that I smoke! Lol.

But why, Anne? What would anyone seriously get out of that?

Another thing i find rediculous is how a poster will start an off-topic thread about soemthing, whatever it is, and if others don't wish to enter the discussion (or even bother reading the posts clearly and noticing there is NO problem or argument occuring) they STILL feel the need to put their two cents worth in and tell everybody to end the discussion, sometimes 'just in case it gets out of hand'.

That to me seems totally rediculous!
