Thank you all so very very much. It was so wonderful meeting Von. I hoped so much it would be a clean scan but was also prepared for a few small glowing areas of active cancer.

I am over the moon that I have this result, however I am not going to turn cartwheels until a further scan about 6 months down the track. These cancers are a bugger for returning.

In saying that though I have a fantastic chance at cure, sooooooo

    WOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I can not thank all you wonderful people here enough for your warmth and support.
I can not see any reason why my specialist will tell me otherwise and that I have NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE!

Back to the most important part of the trip...meeting Von.

They were running late and I walked out into the seating area to find my husband sitting next to this stunning blonde...who looked at me, grinned and plonked a bone in her mouth.

We then all waited in an ante room while I waited for my scans (no report) and then Von left to get the car so I did not have to walk so far.

I peeked at the scan. Saw the result and had myself composed by the time she picked me up.

On to the club for a yummy buffet lunch but just before we served ourselves I showed her the new scan, I had showed her the older one in the ante room, explaining what it showed.

She burst into tears, so did I and she jumped up and hugged me.

The woman is a lovable nutcase, just my type of person and it was so wonderful spending time with her and is a must do again sometime.
