Oh Boy, what an absolutely fantastic day we had! Met Di and Gary at the hospital, we went to Club Liverpool for a buffet lunch (thanks for the treat Di and Gary) where we talked and talked and talked...and laughed...and cried! And yes, the BONE made an appearance!

Di is a truly amazing wonderful lady, and Gary was such a sweetie - I can't wait until Di can come back to Sydney for a visit...I might add that as I am the only person from the forum that she's met, I guess I took her forum "virginity"!

Right now I'm feeling very very emotional as I feel so honoured and privileged to have been part of the day's events. Di went to Liverpool Hospital for a PET Scan, where they inject a radioactive sugar into the body - hope I get this right in terms of how Di explained it, but cancer eats the sugar in the body, so the PET Scan shows up the activity of cancer cells. Below are the main pictures from the scan, first of all all brains show like that on the scans so that's normal, the white bit over her "lady bits" is actually a protective cover that's placed over the area. The pic on the left was taken in January, the one on the right was taken today. If you look on the left pic you can see some creamy coloured masses around the chest/shoulder area, the cancer tumours that Di has been battling. What do you see on the right? NOTHING!!!! NADA!!!! ZILCH!!!!

So, while it still has to be confirmed by Di's specialist on Monday, it looks like

    DI HAS BEATEN THE BITCH!!!
