I woke a few times in the night (damn having to drink so much water, lol) and poked my head out of sleep gingerly seeing how I felt, wow felt good so pee and bed again. Same happened this morning. Started feeling a little queezy so popped a pill and now feel fine. I must say I am happily surprised. Every cycle may be different and like an alcoholic I can only take it day by day.

You may think I am batty (no offense to Angela) but I really feel that Pretty diagnosed and told me I had cancer before the docs did. She always had her nose near my chest where the tumour was later found and was always smelling my breath. I notice with the chemo she is always with me and now doing again the breath smelling and climbing on my lap concern. She is also still nudging with her nose where the tumour is.

The 'smelling' thing that dogs do is interesting isn't it? I hope thought that Boof isn't able to smell cancers as she always smells my eyes. How weird is that. He's always done it though.
Ruby does the same...and licks mine...over and over and over Lets hope it is not a warning! Sumo lick my chest (more like my right breast)...will sniff it intensely and then lick again...hmmmmm

I wonder what it is Clea that makes them attracted to our eyes??
I don't know...I never wear makeup, so it can't be that. It is only Ruby, not Sumo that has an eye fixation...he is just boob fixated like any other male

Geisha used to do that with Russell Di, she would jump up on the bed with him and go up, smell his breath, and settle down and stay with him on the bed all day.

Pups love my ears, think it is because the earing holes get a bit gunky. If they have dogs trained for seizures, diabetes hmmmm, wonder if they will use them as a tool in the future in medical detection.

There's a cat called Oscar who lives at a nursing home, the staff always know it's time for the patients when Oscar starts paying them extra attention. There are so many stories about animals ""knowing"" that we should be listening to our fur kids more.

I haven't read the whole 23 pages, but enough to have a better understanding of Di's situation.

My mind is greatly relieved, Hubby took Jessie over to the other farm for a couple of hours with the other dogs yesterday, 3 of them. Two are retired females, the other, gulp, Boris the sire. Whilst Boris adored Pretty he can be vicious with cattle and I was hesitant about a pup being there and thought a female would have the best chance. Boris ADORES her, lol. Jessie was again over there all afternoon with my father in law. Apparently she waited happily on the step for him when he was inside and by his side in the shed. She is back here now, tonight. I am happy for whenever he wants to take her permanently, I, after all will see her quite often as the dogs go with them wherever on the farms unless too hot for them in the back.

Still to hear any details re River and surrendering on Saturday.

Told the men that when they hear the US President is visiting at the end of March, that is their cue that Jodi and Jess go in for desexing, lol.

Not sure if Pretty is in season, we will get Boris to tell us. If not, there will be a vet call in the next day or so to get her booked in asap.
