Anne, there are many people who post on these forums, and there are also many people whojump to conclusions, sometimes rightly, sometimes wrongly.

I'm sorry that it seems 'plain to you' as that is not the case in this instance. This thread is for discussion on the way we comment, and how changing that at certain times can make the forum a much better place for all users.

I am disappointed that you take 'exception to this thread', and point out that if you don't agree with my comments here, then so be it, yes?

I'm also a little sad that find this thread 'dramatic', and a bit shocked that you think it is in response to one comment of yours, when there are many comments being made on a daily basis that could fit the mould.

I personally feel a lot of us could do with discussing this issue, as it just might make things better?

    Sorry Di, AF.

What I'm trying to say (in my non-obvious way lol) is that so many here seem to get their back up and be upset, offended by what others say, or the way they say it.

Hey, look above, I've obviously offended one poster by even starting this thread. Or should I say, each person chooses to be offended.

If we could all look at how we write and what words we use, wouldn't a huge degree of the bickering I see on here stop? Seems to me a lot of it is caused by lack of communication, or people taking a ocmment the way it seems to them, which is often not the way the poster meant.

Aw hell, I should just go and paint! Lol.

    I am sure there are many thousands of instances that this thread may apply to and that it was abuild up of all of those instacnes you have read. However, given that only minutes before you created this thread you stated in response to my comments in the cat thread;

"I have come to the conclusion that EVERYONE is probably judgemental when they choose to be.

I personally cannot see any words written from Silvershadowwolf that make the implication that anyone here is stupid or lying."

I thinkit reasonable to assume this thread was created as a direct reaction to my comments in that thread.

You can explain it away and I will not believe it as logic tells me otherwise.

I understand the frustration that people feel when threads become nothing but a bickering mess. However, I also feel that my strong writing style may be misinterpreted by you. I pointed out in the cat thread what I took exception to and explained why.

Should I not state that I take an exception to something in case it upsets?

I still take exception to this thread. Do I take exception to you? No, I don't.

I'm amazed that you wish to ascertain which was the first that I noticed, which was the last etc Anne.

You obviously believe it was your comment that prompted this thread, and you are entitled to your opinion. It doesn't matter what I say in regards to that, you seem to have that opinion so firmly entrenched, so you are welcome to it.

Yes, your comment made me think, absolutely. Then I checked another thread that I had posted in late last night, and a comment in that thread was what prompted me to instigate this one. For your information, the comment that concerned me was actually posted BY ME!
Reading it again today, I realised that the OP could possibly take it VERY differently to how I meant it. Food for thought for me, and IMO many others should do too.

    Nice try.

Do you always walk around feeling 'racked off'? I assume this means you are angry?

Your opening statement in this thread is that your are 'racked off'. Please don't tell me you were angry at yourself??? That's a bit bizarre isn't it?

I mean, to be angry with yourself is one thing, but then to start a thread about what you did, but not state it was something you did and it was silly of you.... Is that what you are saying to me or am I reading your last post wrongly????? You were referring to yourself and it was yourself that assumed something and this made you racked off???

So when you say "What is wrong with people and their understanding of the english language?" you are meaning that you are saying "what is wrong with me and my understanding of the english language"? Is that what you are saying???

And when you say "Someone says something here on this forum, and another jumps in and states that 'they said this, they said that' when they didn't say that at all, in no way, form or wording. I'm reading it everywhere. Dumbfounds me actually..." you are actually saying that you are dumbfounding yourself?? Really???

Please. If we must discuss things, lets be clear, concise and honest.

Can we look at the meaning of hypocritical perhaps.

    where is this going Anne?

All she said was...things get twisted around...accusations are flying regarding things people are "supposed" to have said etc.

I am wondering...are you trying to make DA look like a fool to everybody?

It is quite obvious you don't like her post or wording of it, but is this post truly necessary?!?

DA...you should just have said pissed off.

I understand what DA is saying...I understand where she is coming from...I understand why she did it. Even if I didn't agree...doesn't mean I would take her post apart word for word to try and ridicule her.

I have to say though...I understood DA's post better than your last one...it kinda left me confused as to what you were trying to accomplish here.

Why would anyone use the words 'always walk around racked off'?
Anne, I'm not sure what your problem is, but your words sound very rude and downright pompous. But there we go, I could be wrong and I am taking those words differently to what is meant.

Also I think every human gets angry at themselves for something they have said and done. I take it you don't, as you seem to find that so bizaare? Well you are obviously a very forgiving person or else you are perfect.

Have no idea why you are continuing here if you take such exception to this thread.
Therefore, as you have made your feelings about this thread so clear, I kindly ask that you refrain from entering it, as I truly am interested in talking with others who I feel do have a fair idea what I am trying to say here. Thank you.

Guys! ENOUGH! What the hell is going on with this forum? It used to be a useful place to visit, now it seems to be more about getting a blow in about something someone has said!

We don't need to debate this stuff, if you don't like what someone has said PLEASE for the love of dogs, ignore it!

Noone here is perfect, noone here never makes a mistake or says the wrong thing at the wrong time. I know I probably have, many times. We all have bad days where what we mean to say comes out sounding rude or vindictive, when its not actually meant that way. Lets just remember, there are actual people behind the computer screen.

For those who have been around for a while (and no, I'm not discounting the new members) you'll remember I was quite an active poster, but I just couldn't take all the bitching and backstabbing all the time.... As time went on, I found less and less desire to come in and ask questions or talk to anyone!

Shall I call all of your attention to another forum, where noone's opinions are valid???

Please guys, lets just be nice?
