    Hey Pugger,
I'm a bit late, but just wanted to say that I hope you're feeling better.
Ps. The one thing that always makes me feel better ( apart from my pooches) is music. Sometimes I spend hours listening to diff. albums, old songs that take me back somewhere nice......
    Chin up ok?

I used to be on a great forum with Occy, Dogsrule, Peilovr, Anne and probably others here using different names. There were the usual disagreements but things mostly ran well until the end. I don't really know why it folded. I was in hospital for 9 weeks and when I came home the forum had died.

This could be a wonderful forum. I hope things start to improve soon.
I know the forum that you are referring to DH -- its closing was a shock to all of us, and that was a thread that got abusive among members, personal attacks & it just continued there were no apologies made & it it went from bad to worse. Quite a few sat on the sidelines & hoped it would blow over, a few of us tried to put an end to it but it didnt work, I have a different opinion on a member who was instrumental in it closing.
As a new member here, I quite often sit back, I read all of the posts, or close to it, but feel if I cant add something constructive I keep the trap shut. I should NOT have suggested to Kosta -- that he/she should be de-sexed along with her dog, that was a time when I should have kept my big mouth shut, but sometimes find it hard to do that. I am going to try, if I am having a real shitty day, as most people know my husband has terminal cancer and with trying to keep Geisha alive as well, I can have some really crappy days, I will not jump in on "debates", you all have permission to kick me in the butt if I do.

I missed what happened on that other forum. Not sure where I was. I've picked up bits and pieces over the last couple of years of what went on though. In fact, one of the members involved in it's demise reacted in a very bizarre, disturbing and abusive way to me a few months back when I joined another forum where she is a mod. I have since asked for my membership to be deleted though from there. I have already had one nutter (coincidently it was from that very same forum too Deerhound) who has tried to sabotage my career, I don't need to hang aorund a forum and wait for another nutter to try the same or similar thing.

I hope this forum remains friendly and people realise when they should pull thier heads in. Many of us may go overboard a little here and there when we debate things we are passionate about, but in the end, everyone should remember it is just a debate and the person you are debating with is a human being with real feelings.

How pathetic am I. I didn't even notice your statement about your husband PeiLuver. My sincere apologies. I know there isn't much I can offer but I will be sending you, and your husband, warm and caring vibes.

Thanks Pugger, this is the biggest battle I have ever had in my life I think, & I would hope that noone else has to go through it, its bad enough that I know I am going to lose Russell soon, but to lose Geisha as well thats where it is going to bloody hard.
We make a joke out of it, Russell has his morphine, Geisha has her Metacam, Russell has Zyloprim, gout tablet which is part of the after chemo meds, Geisha has Colchine, gout tablets, she has protein in her joints from the Amyloidosis (sp), Russell has problems with his bowels, he gets 30 mls. of Duralax, Geisha has trouble, she gets 10 mls.
Russell has shitty days and then shittier ones, Geisha wont eat on the days that Russell is really "off", I tell ya, its bloody frustrating at times, but we get there
