Theres no pressure.. Seriously if a women doesnt want to have kids then she would be careful, if she makes a mistake by getting pregnant there is the good after pill and abortions.
I meant the concept that she can't have her tubes tied at any age but men can have the snip whenever they want...It's unfair. I just believe the right should be there. Not something I'd do, but the right should be there IMO.

I just believe the government shouldn't be able to decide when we can and cannot have those types of surgeries. (Unless under eighteen of course.)

Sorry Peta but in S.A. at least this is incorrect. Brad had his tied when he was 25 although he has 2 beautiful daughters. There were lots of questions involved though. It was covered by medicare although a reversal is not. I think it was an excess of $130. Not sure about women though.

Tubes are not tied on young women as so many change their opinion when older. As with anything we can feel that we know our minds at some age but most revise their stances, opinions as we go along in life. I feel there are many options for women out there who chose not to fall pregnant without having the finality of tubal ligation which is so much harder and less successful to reverse than a vasectomy.

Didn't say that medicare should pay. I'm saying that if a woman wants it done, it's not the doctors right to say no. At least, it shouldn't be. This is just my opinion.
