Hehe I love him both in the movie and in the book. He's like....exactly what I look for in a man - as in perfection. And Alexander SkarsgÄrd, the actor who plays him, is ridiculously tall. And Swedish. I love tall men. *more drool* If I was ever madly in love with a TV character, this is definitely it.

I'm lucky because my boyfriend actually resembles him slightly. Not the face, but the body type and hair/skin are very similar, except the bf is 6'1 and Alexander is 6'4 :S

I just noticed that I'm typing this like a schoolgirl with a crush.

I've never heard of Lost Boys I'm guessing it's a vampire movie but what type of movie is it eg horror, thriller, suspense?
I'm going through a faze of old horror movies, working my way through the Candyman and Halloween movies atm

    Hi Bordeaux

It's a bit more of the suspense, thriller than the mindless horror stuff. There is a bit of blood but I don't remember being completely freaked out by it. Not like some movies I've seen. I hate horror movies like Friday 13th, Nightmare on Elm street, Texas Chainsaw massacre... So not like those.

I didn't like the Tom Cruise one (Interview with a Vampire) cos TC just turns me off. I remember liking the ending for some reason though. Christian Slater and Brad Pitt go some way towards compensating for the yuk factor of TC. And TC plays a character you're not supposed to like much anyway. This is based on an Anne Rice book and she's supposed to be definitive Vampire writer - not that I've read any of her stuff. I suspect Twighlight is weak compared to her stuff.

I loved 'lost boys' too, is that the one where they float up and scratch at the window? I hated that bit, but mostly it was pretty hilarious.

I'm off to see the New Moon tomorrow afternoon with my teenage daughter. I've read all the books and loved them but I found the Twilight movie a bit of a let down. We will see what this one is like.

I thought "the shining" was very funny.

Alien - scared the bejesus out of me. I spent most of that movie out in the cinema corridor. And yet I know those things are not here to get me, it was all in the timing and suspense.

Horror movies - I either find them outrageously funny, or a combination of annoying and scary. I couldn't bring myself to look at Wolf Creek - I've spent too much time travelling the outback to want that experience. Then again - I've seen jaws - more funny than scary, and I scuba dive in their habitat. I have to not-think about GWS.
