I am feeling soooo much better. i finally managed to get out of bed this morning without having to use the bedside chest to climb up. I felt half-way normal again. The pain is still there, but i know I have passed the pinnacle and am now on the mend.

And it's a lovely day here too.

Am waiting on an e-mail from the breeder, as I have asked if she has made her decision yet. Getting really impatient now, and trying to control my impatience. Lol. Hard job for me.

That's fantastic DA! I don't know how you stay so calm, I would be in their ear whining about needing to know

    Dev Av,
so your baby hasn't arrived yet? I thought they had made their decision, must of misread or missed a post.

I would take it as a good sign though if the delay is because they can't make a decision between the two. It means that your puppy will be nice and straight and sound, not that there is anything wrong with a pet quality puppy.

Will your puppy have full or limited register?

I am really starting to get excited GSD's! Now we are in Jauary, the month when i pick her up I feel we are getting so much closer.

The family have even been discussing getting another further down the track after Inca has been de-sexed and is older. Will see what happens.

    Hi Mouse and chicken.

They are still debating between the two bitches which one to keep for their own show/ possible future breeding stock. I believed she would have made a final decision by the 8 weeks stage, but I guess it's not an easy decision. 2ndly, I hate being hounded, so have only sent 1 e-mail and that will be it until i hear a reply.

I assume on the limited register M&C, as I have no interest in showing whatsoever, so...

I'm so excited for Inca to come home! Promise you'll bombard us with photos as a proud new parent?

Some photos, but once she arrives I will be very busy with her, settling, training, exercising for tiny periods throughout the day. Can't wait. Will be taking her and the boys to the beach quite a lot until the boys go back to school in February. It is great that she will arrive at a time they are home and can bond with her better.

Yes 8 weeks is very very very very hard. My most recent dogs have been purchased at 5mths and 16mths old, that way I knew what I was getting. Because the disappointment that you didn't nail the right choice is very hard from the breeders perspective.

I'm hoping something from Kelsey will be exceptional and hence will be just like your breeder and hold off of selling the top couple for as long as possible. They will be in the house, toilet trained, leash trained etc so this does suit some people especially those with children.

Sorry know it doesn't help you any.
