I had a really bad day. My stupid back was playing up and I was forced into a date that ended badly. *Tantrum icon*

That sucks, Dis. I remember way back when I was a teenager. My mother and sister and I have virtually the same voice. A bloke rang up for a date with me. Bloody mum answered and he thought it was me, she said yes. I could not stand the dweeb and told her that SHE could go out with him. I went, just to spare his feelings but there was never a second date. He never knew.

Ha ha that's a great story lol.

My mum has it in her head that I need to be wedded off and live the golden life. She expects me to be giving birth, breastfeeding, cleaning the bathroom wioth one, cooking gourmet meals with the other, all while I win the Nobel prize for medical science at the same time by I'm twenty five. I hope the last one is true. But I don't even plan to marry...It will take a superman to sweep me off my feet LOL

mmmm tis funny at times what we envision for our kids. I thought my older one would be some kind of executive with a blonde and Jag. He has a brunette wife and 3 kids and is in the army. The other I envisaged as a tradesman. He lives on a disabled pension as I have mentioned before. I pictured them both very happy in their roles.

I think all parents want what is best for their child. The issue is my idea of best and my mothers idea of best don't necessarily correspond...

    At all.

Maybe its cause my PM box is 99% full, it can't even send them????
Anyway, I'll just say it now.

Considering what we do, we don't get paid that much. It ranges from about $23,000 to $40,000, depending on your position in the clinic. Money doesn't really matter though.
You need a certificate of veterinary nursing from TAFE. To enter the course, you must have an education level of at least year 10(which I think you already do?) Prior to this certificate, you need certificate 2 and 3. All three are done at TAFE. (I hope this makes sense!)
Full time, you should finish the course in 3 years.

You can also get an apprenticeship, but im not to sure how that works. Im sure you could look it up.

I hope this helps and good on you for considering the career!!

    Bump!

Bloody taxation dept. Slow as. Even slower than me, and that's saying something when it comes to paperwork. Lol.

My refund is nothing like what I thought it may be. Buggers. Sigh.

Um, no, I'm that slow. I put it in at the very last possible moment before the cut off date. I'm not usually that slack, but things have been busy round here. Yep, that's my excuse.
