Very nice indeed! I was in Tassie at the begining of the year and fell in love with the place. We had a scorcher in Adelaide at the time 40c,42c. Tassie was 23c-26c and cool nights. Lovely! Beautiful scenery, great people, great fresh produce. I considered moving. Still am.

Lived in Adelaide Mags. I just couldn't breathe. Literally. I swear in summer the heat was burning my throat and swelling my tongue!

    I considered moving. Still am.

Do it! Do it! No seriously, if the time is right and you are ready, you will move.

My son, when out of the Army (god knows when that will be, he keeps reenlisting) wants to relocate to Tassy. They have holidayed there a couple of times now.

OK well I am going to go to Tasmania for a while then, that settles it.

Whats the best coastal locations btw? say north coast. dogs allowed on beach.

I'me not fussed on work types i'le do 'almost' anything for a crust and have back up funds whilst i find a job.

I read something that there is a quarentine for dogs that come from the mainland to tasmania, how long do they have to be kenneled?

No Beau, dogs don't have to be quarantined coming from the mainland. They do, however, have to be accompanied by a vet certifcate (or a statutory declaration along with used pill packet) proving they have been dosed with proquental (? shit spelling there, but MUST be that particular drug!) for hydatid tapeworm within 14 days prior to arriving on Tasmanian soil. We don't have HT here, so that is the only requirement.

I believe if a person wants to work, then they will find work anywhere.

Beau, because I've only lived in Devonport, I wouldn't have a clue about other places, particularly for dogs. Lovely beaches here, and Moorlands Beach is where a lot of people take their dogs to run and play, even horses go swimming there -it's great. Having said that, everywhere is quiet compared to the mainland!

There are just so many nice places, who knows where you'd like? Only time can answer that one, I'm sorry.

No Di - it's actually meant to be green! Lol.

First thing my youngest said (he had just turned 2) was what's all that green stuff everywhere Mum? Priceless. He spent the first day rolling around on the lawn.
