I have penciled in a time for a little heart to heart chat with my Pretty gal.
Last night she left me babysitting in quite a warm room and went to sleep with Hubby, on the bed with him, in the spare room with the aircon on!

Oh goodie. I was hoping someone would start a thread like this. I like to do the "Morning all. How are we today ?" type thing.

I have a queasy tummy from celebrating Spirit finally doing Stand For Exam (SFE) & getting passed up a grade at dog school. It's only taken a year to sort this out ...

Ta. She's at least 2 grades ahead of where she's been stuck for the last 12 months, so it's nice to have (hopefully) this worked out. I'd like to trial her, so if we can move through the classes quickly now, I should be able to sign her up when the weather cools down next year. I won't trial my dogs in the hot weather. It's just too cruel I feel.

Morning "AF". I get heat stroke as a result of getting my brain fried on the golf course from not wearing a hat when I should have. The hot weather is no longer my friend unfortunately.

Heat stroke is a shocker. Once you've got it, you've got it for life. I have to be so careful. In just a few minutes, I can collapse & be bed ridden for hours. When it first happened, I had to stay indoors and not go outside at all for 5 days. I was pretty sick, to say the least. I've learned how to manage it, so I can go about my life without too much adjustment.
