Well, I sure was handed a miracle today & I'm very, very, very grateful. I just wish it had been the same outcome for your Ralph.

Cancer is like Russian Roulette, sometimes your lucky, sometimes your not. I was lucky with the breast cancer and have not had recurrence in almost 13 years, Ralph was just unfortunate that his was so agressive that no medical intervention would have given him the extra years or get him to old age!
I just have to believe that the universe had a plan for him or for us or both!

Got a bit of a shock when I got home today! There were two condolence cards in the letter box, one from the Newcastle Animal Emergency Centre - these were the folk that saved Ralph back in January by giving him a temporary tracheostomy plus were the folk that we took Ralph to Monday night to be pts. The other was from Sugarloaf Animal Hospital who were the people who referred Ralph to Sydney Vet Clinic and did all the follow up on Ralph and monitered his progress and medication. Both seem very caring!

I was driving home tonight from football training and got stuck at a red light. Looking around bored I saw this big burly guy get out of his work truck. Out jumps a Stafford, struts up to the front door.......then out jumps a Shar-Pei, struts up to the front door, so I of course am looking closer to get a good look......then out jumps the maltese terrier complete with bow in hair and struts up to front door. Such a lovely sight!
