The boys left not long ago, after waving their tape measures around, talking lots of man-talk about hardwood, brackets etc and what they are going to do....even Sam poked his nose in to see what all the fuss was about (tho I think he was looking for carrots). I think Sam's going to end up with the Taj Mahal at this rate!

Hehe I phoned the wife just after they left to let her know they were heading back and she said to find all the odd jobs that need doing and give them a list!

Will be interesting to find out what they come up with....

    Hi DA

I think avatar of the month a good idea too. It would be like an art award - eg I know what I like.

Yeah, I think it's a fantastic idea, and have nominated Mitte's avatar. Those who agree are welcome to go into nomination thread and vote also. The more votes the easier it is to decide at the end of the month. Lol.

And just like grandkids, you can hand the "hubby" back to their owners!

Maybe thru the school holidays I'll get the skids to show me how to do all this fancy avatar stuff, I'm feeling a bit plain jane & jealous of everyones fancy computer work.

On another note entirely, SS was late to school this morning as his mother took him for a hair cut!

I'm sure you could of picked my jaw up of the pavement when he told me. Is it just me or is that strange?

I might have to pay him, but he'll get the job done to my satisfaction & I'll be a happy woman when he leaves for the day. *sniggering hyena emoticon*

I must admit to taking one of my kids late to school as I took them for a hair cut, HOWEVER, I work with kids and this was a day that I (for other reasons) was only working the afternoon of that day, and all my other kids were at school. I must admit I jumped at the chance of taking one child to the hairdressers instead of 7.
