Thread: The Chat Place...

Just up from 12 hours solid sleep. At the moment it's a toss up between taking as much Nurofen as I like & not feeling anything, but my "system" is completely clagged or put up with as much pain as I can & be "free flowing".

On the bright side, I'm driving Rob to the airport at 2 to go to Sydney for this MDBA thing. A whole 24 hours of constantly not having to pick up someone else's crap & cracking the whip in the job finding exercise. Ah bliss ....

12hrs sleep.... mmmm that sounds nice!

I've never been so glad to have hubby around atm - he's helping me with everything lol. i'm so right-handed its not funny, so im really struggling having to use my left.

Bella - who is miss velcro normally - will not leave my side. she keeps getting distressed when i go into the bedrooms, which are blocked with baby gates.

What is wrong with this section of the human species ?? But if they get the slightest sniffle of "man flu", they take to the sofa, remote in hand & expect you to drop everything & wait on them hand & foot.

lol i told him im going to train one of the dogs to be my assistance dog

yes its so true. this morning ive managed to put the dishes away, feed the dogs, & do 2 loads of washing - one handed! he did offer to feed my breakfast to me but i declined.

when hes sick in the slightest - a sore throat perhaps - he just lays on the couch & goes to sleep!

he'll be a busy boy for the rest of the weekend though, dont you worry - i has lots of jobs round the house lined up this weekend....

I can have as many jobs as I like lined up. They just don't get done. That's why I'm seriously getting one of those hire a hubby guys, even it's only for a hour at a time.

I think my hubby is in between! If I'm sick or tired it doesn't matter he still wants to do what he wants to do, if he is it's the end of the world as we know it. I still make him get up and do stuff though.

Had to buy Batty a new bed this morning. Poor boy must have had a bit of a stress last night, he's not used to other puppies whining so he had a bout of the runs. He's fine again now, but his bed wasn't!

I dunno about you C&B but I'd rather get it done myself, at least that way I know it's done properly!

You've just booted my arse into gear. (Not about the shirtless comment, but about actually doing something & not constantly whinging about it.) I've just this second put in an SOS email to them. Let's see what they come back with. I'm sure I'm not the first woman that's sent them an email that begins "I have a lazy, shiftfless husband ...."
