    Hey Boh..

yep my Oh still wears short shorts, he wears footy shorts cause the king-gee shorts annoy the crap out of him & according to him the king-gee's restrict leg moments etc.. omg he's a funny bugga, he often would use a "stanley knife" to cut the legs off /shorten the legs of king-gee's.. bloody tradie's like to improvise & use their tools to the max & for lots of different purposes...

Hi all, home from town, gees there has been a lot to catch up on. Can't leave this forum for a second.
I hope all our injured and sick ones get healed or well in the fastest possible time.
We had a great afternoon/evening. Saw the movie green Zone (hubby's choice and we also needed one that did not have too much time to fill before dinner. We then exchanged the baby gate. This is just a normal one now. Hope it is tall enough to do the job with the pups next month. Bandit, pretty and I can be the other side of it and I won't get mauled sitting down. I went dvd special shopping. Am making a collection to take with me and De when we do wagga for a few weeks with the radiation for boredom busting as we will be in a cancer accomodation lodge maybe 4 or 5 nights a week for a few weeks.
We then went to an Italian restaurant that has been open 33 years. I had been there lots when younger. Spagetti marinara and casata. mmm yum. An hours drive home again, sorted my dvd's into a bigger case I bought and am now checking up on you lot.

Sounds like you had a great time tonight Di! Geez I'm exhausted just reading what you managed to do today.....ooh that marinara sounds yum.

When do you head off to Wagga? Hope you're able to get online while you're there!

It was yum, well, I guess it would have been if I had taste buds, lol.
I will have a few weeks break between chemo and radiation so it will be in May. No idea of internet access but will be taking the laptop for the dvd's anyway. I hope that we will be home Fri, Sat and Sunday nights so you may get a break and just see me them. If I get bad withdrawal I will find an internet cafe.

The lodge is twin beds, ensuite, fridge, tea/coffee I think. There is a lsrge communal kitchen/dining room to do your own food and an entertainment lounge area. For 46 bucks a night that is payable by the isolated patients assistance fund it is wonderful.
We do have to book in blocks of one week at a time, it is not a motel and pay our own nights away. No problems with that idea at all. If anyone is bored silly they can google Lilliah Lodge in wagga wagga.

It's fantastic that lodges like that are available to people that need them. It sounds like a nice place. Shall I warn them that TweedleDe and TweedleDi are about to descend on them?
