Hmm, I'm a bit concerned now. Normally, she'd guzzle a bowl of Lectade when it's offered to her ... she loves the stuff. I can't find the syringe I'd normally use to admin this type of stuff, so Rob's going to drop in somewhere quickly while he's on pizza del's & drop one home to me. She's seems bright enough & constantly follows me everywhere when I leave the room, so it may just be a sympathy thing. Her eyes are bright & she's wagging her tail when she's following me everywhere. She's not running a temp & her gums are still good though. It's been quite a warm day, so I'd prefer to pump the Lectade into her to replace any energy she's lost. I've posted before that Mish would eat a meal if the house was falling down around her ears, so the fact that she hasn't is a concern to me. NEVER in over 12 years has that dog missed a meal. The 2 young 'uns aren't acting "weird" around Mish, so I doubt she's going anywhere in a hurry in the next little while ..... hopefully.

You didn't miss anything Greys. Haven't posted before now that I've got a fractured rib.

DA ... I'm not having a real good trot ATM, am I mate. I can't afford to have Mish leave me just ATM. BTW Deb ... tomorrow's Zena's day, not today. I'm just not on my game ATM. I've taken so much Nurofen, I rattle when I hobble about the place.

GSD and Mish hang in there! Also sending healing vibes and lots of love to you both. Hopefully once you have the syringe you can get her to take the Lectade. Crossing everything that Mish comes good and your pain from your rib reduces really quickly.

Thanks. Being able to chat & share while I'm waiting for that damn syringe to get here is taking my mind off things. Mish is on a dog bed about 3 feet from me & I'm watching her like a hawk.

Thanks. The rib will heal. Interesting story considering we're talking Mish & fractured ribs today .... about 10 years ago, Mish was so excited to see me, she pushed me onto the edge of a cane dog basket & fractured 3 to 4 ribs. I know my rib will heal. Mish is an unknown. Syringe has just arrived .... update later.

Lectade adminstered. I'll see how Mish is in the morning before deciding on my next move.i She's a tough old girl, so I've probably got myself all in a "tiss" for nothing. Still ... better that I care and overdo a bit of preventative maintenance, than have the attitude "She'll be right", do nothing and she checks out with me left wondering what I should have done to have prevented this.

Thanks for all your 's & 's for my Mish. Silly as it sounds .. I've been reading your posts to her as she's been lying in a dog bed only a few feet from my PC.

She sleeps by the side of my bed these days since her diagnosis, so I'll be right with her throughout the night should anything happen.

You're a good bunch of people that care, so I thank you for that.

That's not silly reading the posts to Mish! I read the posts to Ralph or tell him what is happening with all the other furkids out there!
I hope Mish is back to her normal self in the morning and that you get a good nights sleep!

All the best Lynnie. Jeez it doesn't get any easier does it? Hopefully Mish will be a fair bit better tomorrow morning, and hopefully you will be too.

Anything happens, don't hesitate to call, doesn't matter what time it is - OKAY!
Have a good rest GSD's and Mish.

Mish is probably lying there wondering what Mum is wittering about! "WHO sent me a hug? Don't tell me about them, GIVE them to me!....hmmm this getting sick business sure gets me a lot of attention..."
