I'm worried that, bella being such a fusspot, she wont like them (no offence GSD ). I want to buy a Perfect Pooch 500g because it's the most value for money, and I dont exactly have a lot of money flying around. $25 is a lot of money for me, and I don't want to end up getting the big packet and Bella not liking them (she hates the schmackos!! Do your dogs like them or is it just Bellarina?), and wasting $25. Its the most value for money, sooo... What should I do?

Are you being serious? Spend the $25 and try them. It's worth it! If she likes meat she will like these.

I refuse to give any dog schmackoes. Full of preservatives and crap!

They're a small solid treat that the dog does need to crunch.

One of my clients has dogs that will turn their noses up at almost anything, don't like hot dogs, cabanossi any other kind of treat and will not do anything for any of it. Show her one of GSD's treats and it's a different dog.

It depends on how you introduce them IMO. If you're excited and happy, the dog will be too.

ETA: They last forever anyway, so even if you buy them and Bella doesn't like them when you get your next dog they will work for him/her

Boxer, I think there is actually a thread about GSD's treats. You might want to look at that. If you haven't got enough $$, buy a smaller bag, simple as that. If your dog doesn't like it, then that's the risk you take just like anyone else here.

No-one here can guarantee that Bella will love them. I would be surprised if she doesn't, but the only way you're gonna know is to purchase a bag and give it a try.

Not a particularly good day today.

Mish chucked up volumns about 5 different times after lunch today & she's refusing to eat dinner. That dog NEVER refuses food. Still, if I put myself in her position, I'd hardly feel like eating if I'd emptied my guts that way either. She's drinking heaps of water, but that's probably to counteract all the vommitting. I've checked her gums & they're fine. In sitting down to write this, I've suddenly thought to make up some Lectade for her, so I'll give her a dose after I post here & see if that picks her up enough to have a snack on her dinner. I know the old girl can't last forever & she's lasted 2 years longer than they gave her, so a few happy thoughts from you all won't go astray so she knows a few people besides me love her & want her to get better.

I think the old girl might be going out in sympathy with me. I've been nursing a fractured rib since yesterday morning. She knows I haven't been running on all cylinders & she's the world's biggest worrier when it comes to her pack poor love. She's probably made herself sick by stressing about me the silly girl.

Lots of healing vibes and thoughts being sent your way GSD...for both Mish and YOU! I'd not be pushing food on her tonight, her poor tum is probably quite sore from the vomiting, giving it a rest is what I'd be doing. At least she's drinking which is good.

Did I miss it but what on earth did you do to get a fractured rib? Ouchies!

<<Big hugs to both of you>>

    Oh cripes GSD's!

Give Mish the lectade, but don't allow her to drink much water. Just little bits at frequent intervals. Drinking too much water will keep her vomiting mate.

MISH, YOUR MUM NEEDS YOU SOOOOO MUCH! Come on girl, don't leave us yet, it's NOT time.
Hugs Lynnie, you know I'm here my friend.
