She's 10 years younger than me, so I doubt it's age related, even if I am turning into an old fart!

I know it sounds awful, but it kind of cheered me up!
I sure hope they find out what is going on Von!!!

Very interesting indeed !! Hopefully she'll go, get the blood test done & you can compare results if you're able to. Strange as it sounds, I understand perfectly how this news would have given you some sense of comfort. You're not potty & there seems to be something to all of this ....

Oh just read this Greys. I hope they get to the bottom of things. Sounds very much like it could be the bloody mozzies. I hate the little buggers but never had anything like this.

I hope you get some answers soon. It's the waiting that's the worst

Chin up Sweetie. It can't be helped & you've made the right decision by the sounds of things.

So.... I shaved SD14's hair off today. She raised $500.00 for World Greatest Shave.

She nearly cried when it came off, but was pleasantly surprised at the outcome. We did a No.4 and she has a bit of a fringe off to the side, looks pretty cool in my opinion.

She is an extremely pretty girl, big blue eyes, thick long lashes, beautiful skin and as it turns out a nice shaped head.

So in the end she was pleased with her look. She is a bit worried because she didn't go "all the way" and shave it bald. But as I told her this is about a raising money for Cancer Research etc. If anyone says anything ask them have they got the guts to go No.4. And besides she has never exposed her scalp to the sun before so what's the point of risking getting burnt. Or to shut the knockers up blame us, we wouldn't let her shave it bald.

Yes I think she could of put more effort into the fundraising side of things, but she's a teenager and like everything else leaves things to the last minute.

She's put on a bit of make-up to feel girly and ease her way into it. But all in all I think she was very brave and $500 is still $500.00, every bit helps.

wow thats really impressive a 14year old would do that, tell her she is awesome for me pls

also tell her a bonus of shaving her hair is it blunts the ends and when it grows back it looks thicker/fuller. (we shave our childrens heads when they are babies- cultural thing)
plus weather is cooling down and there are gorgeous beenies/caps/beret things to wear now, but I personally think she should wear her new hair proudly
