Maybe a thyroid problem ? Or chronic fatigue ? Or hormonal ?? Bet you can't wait until you get the results back. When is that BTW ??

Going to the Doc's on Sunday morning for him to take ze blooood, I guess the results will be back sometime during the week. I am hating feeling so lethargic, and the aching isn't helping, I'm usually fairly busy doing stuff around the place.

    Maybe I'm just feeling lazy!

Sometimes, they check for one thing & not the other. As he's "syphoning" you, are you able to ask him what specific tests he's sending the blood work off for (please). I'm not a fan of "Let's see what comes back".

You're not lazy Darl. There's definitely something not right. A woman's intuition is rarely wrong.

I'll check with him, but he's the type of doc that will tell me what he's going to test for. Thanks GSD!

No worries Lovey. Not sure of your age, but we gals, we need to check everything. Colesterol, blood pressure, sugar levels, hormone levels, thyroid. You reckon something's not "right" & that's good enough to get everything checked out. He sounds like a progressive sort of Doc.

I've just decided to change the one I've had since 1984. He's only a few years older than me, but has a real 1950's mentality. He's pretty gruff & gets me "in 'n out" as quickly as possible, with a "There, there girlie, I know what's best for you, don't question me young lady" type of attitude.

I'd go the "full Battery" then, but maybe give some consideration to a bone density test given your aches & pains in your joints etc. It may just be a vitamin deficiency though. It will be interesting to see what comes back .....

Really hope it's not serious and you're feeling better soon.

Gee Von, I hope the doctor can get to the bottom of the problem. Then you can do whatever needs to be done to feel better again. Best of luck and will be sending healing vibes your way!

Well, very interesting....was chatting this morning to the friend whose place it was where I got bitten alive by mozzies and she informs me that SHE hasn't been feeling great either! She's also been tired, had headaches and had some mild joint pain. Told her to get a blood test done too. She's 10 years younger than me, so I doubt it's age related, even if I am turning into an old fart!

I know it sounds awful, but it kind of cheered me up!
