The weather here was lovely, my house is clean and the dogs are bathed. I have finished packing and I go in 24 hours. Can't wait!!! Having three days without kids and dogs, first time in nearly 12 years - I'm frightened I won't want to come back! LOL!

Yep it's been a miserable day here, drizzling for most of it.

Oh what the hell, I need a whinge so here goes...

I'm feeling like crap, have been for a couple of weeks, started with my wrists, but for the last week my knees and hips have been painful. Don't tell me I'm getting arthritis at my age! I can't get comfortable, and I don't think the weather is helping any. So I'm feeling very sorry for myself. Plus I look around the dog paddock and see how much whippersnipping needs to be done, but I can't physically do it! I was in tears this afternoon looking at it. Can't afford to get someone in to do it either.

Yesterday did cheer me up though, going to see MACs gang, and pulling Rio and Tallulah off death row - but today I feel like I'm letting my gang down. I've just popped a couple of panadeine forte to help with the pain. I'm off for a blood test tomorrow after I've dropped the newbies off for desexing, maybe that will show up what the problem is.

I am sure the whipper snippering can wait. It is not life or death it is only 'pretties', there are more important things to stress about, like where am I going to get my next block of chocolate from and then how do I decide which one I want!!!

Seriously though, I get the 'helpless' feeling - it's horrible, but you need to take a deep breath and let your body start to heal a little before you start pushing it.

I hope that somebody can point you in the right direction as to what is wrong, and you take some time to recuperate.

Von, I hope you are okay. Are you eating okay? Not missing any of the vital vitamins or minerals? When was the last time you took a break?

Thanks guys, I know it's not the end of the world. I think it's more there is always so much to do around the place and I simply can't DO anything right now! I haven't been able to have a run around with the gang for a couple of weeks as it hurts too much, and I'm missing that.

I try to eat okay most of the time, I have a choccy in the fridge for emergencies!

As for having a break, well, I think it was 2 years ago and it turned into a nightmare. I have no hope of a break in the future either. Yes, I would love one, but with all the furkids it's pretty much impossible.

I just needed a vent, and I'm so grateful that I can do it here, it helps a great deal.

Clea, thank you but it's fine, Rio has been a joyous thing to happen for me! Okay so I am about to cry (a GOOD cry), but way I've been feeling I've needed something really positive and helping you and Rio out has been such a wonderful thing for me - I've been able to help someone save a dog's life, and today I was out there watching him run around and it made me SO happy. It's much easier for him to be here as I have the set up to manage it.

No more baths, he's clean as a whistle now, and won't be able to have one until his stitches out. No photos?!!! No way! I might not be able to whippersnip, but I think my itty bitty camera will be okay!

Vent as much as you like Von. That is the one of the things we all need to do every now and then. I wish there was something or someway I could help out!

Von you should of told me you haven't been eating, not well etc.

I would of made you a proper lunch, I'm really slack with lunch and will eat cake, chocolate etc in it's place.

When the Puppets are all safe from nasties you should call me if you need a hand.
