Huge claps of thunder and rain here (Preston) too. Yesterday the dogs got a bit worried about the storm for the first time ever, so I think I might go distract them with a game of ball or their dinner.

I've just checked the pantry. Found some water crackers that appear to be rather fresh, so I'm having a munch on them.

Scout's now inside, which is a relief given I'm very fond of the little bloke. I've just dosed Mish with a heap of Valerian drops straight down her gullet, so she's all very "70's" in her brain & is lying at the back door "looking at all the pretty white flashes in the sky" through the window rather than running frantically through the house, barking her head off & spooking Tara & Spirit.

And go figure .... I left the teaspoon I used for the Valerian for Mish on the kitchen counter & Scout is now helping himself from the remainder in the dip of the spoon. That cat is so resourceful. It tastes like cough medicine, but Scout doesn't seem to mind it. Weird cat ....

Maybe a visit to the GP is in order GSDs?

I had planned on round 2 of AGB's Beef Casserole that I made last night (yummy), but I went to a BBQ today and of course ate too much! Round 2 can wait until tomorrow night.

I'm going to a "head" person on Tues, so maybe I can get them to check me out then. This thing certanly is a bit weird & has lasted longer that I would have expected. I'm hoping I'll be running on all cylinders by tomorrow so I'll have nothing to worry about.

I think I got the same thing you had GSD's and it knocked me around for just under two weeks. One minute I was fine, then crook as a dog. Then felt horrible for all that time and then next minute I was right as rain.

It is horrible but I used it as a good excuse to not have to do anything!! LOL! You gotta look at the positives!!

That's exactly what I'm going through ATM Cate. Effing knocks you around, that's for sure. And you're right. One minute you think "Yep. I'm good to go." and the next, *vomit emoticon* & flat on your back. I've always worked & I love the treats, so this is really pissing me off right now. Sorry mate. There is no positive for me. Hopefully, I'll be back on deck tomorrow. I keep thinking of Di ... I have nothing to complain about compared to that "kick arse chick" so I should just stop complaining & get over myself. I still like the 's &'s from you all though.

    Morning all

Long weekend.. yaaaayyy!! Except someone outside is renovating and it's driving me (and the dogs) nuts!!

Went outside this morning to check how much it had rained - quite a bit, it turns out! We left a bucket on the balcony on Saturday morning by accident, and then just left it out there for the rest of the weekend to see how much it rained, it's half full! Poor Charlie and Bella, their outside "pet loo" type toilet is underwater! Off to the supermarket soon for me to get some new kitty litter!
