Older son's kids have the tummy bug too. They are madly trying to keep their daughter free of it as she is sheduled for surgery on tuesday.

I wasn't in the mood to put up with Spirit's "You lookin' at me" attitude with everyone, so left her home. It's nice to do something just with Tara every now & then. The poor thing always takes a back seat when Spirit's around because not many people have seen a White.
Sucks doesn't it! I left it so long to get something to stop it because I thought it would go away on it's own. it did not! Have you taken of those tablets from the chemist (I got Gastro Stop - worked a treat!).

I bet Tara is loving her day so far - getting to have an egg & bacon roll and being the centre of attention!!

For those of you who have the racing on channel 7. It's at Flemington. I live only a few minutes away. Pics of my house to follow in a few minutes .....

Isn't that what google maps street view is for? The first pass they did of my area, they skipped my end of the street and I thought woo-hoo but it didn't last long. And the current satellite view has a nice pic of my big fat hefalump of a car in the drive (it doesn't fit through the shed door - never mind that the shed itself is chockers).

This has nothing to do with Google maps Hy. The races at Flemington have just been abandoned due to this monster hail storm. I live very close by. Just loading the pics of my backyard to Photobucket now to post. The storm was so bad, my kitchen is pretty much flooded because I have a flat roof over that section, the outside flood light is smashed & a window pane in the kitchen is totally cracked & stuffed. I know our friends in Qld would say "Pftt. You've got nothing to complain about." but this is pretty weird for this time of the year in Melbourne.

Well, the humans, Tara & Spirit are OK. Poor Mish has been freaking out though. She's been running uncontrollably beserk through the house, knocking Tara's stand over & spilling water from the bowl everywhere. I've got some valerian liquid into the old girl, so I'm hoping this will kick in pretty quickly & she'll settle. She just doesn't cope in thunder storms, so this is really stressing her out.

I'm quite concerned about my little Scout though. He's pretty resourceful, so is probably sheltering somewhere. I must say though, I'll be much happier when we get him home & indoors.

Cripes! Glad you are all safe after that battering.

    ...come home Scout!
