Thanks Di, if your post was referring to me.

Feel somewhat better. Not 100%, so hopefully this (whatever it is) will pass soon. (Pardon the pun )

Sounds like a nasty bug sweetie. More than a 24 hour thing.

Could be one of those pre flu season type things. I've been sneezing heaps over the last few days.

You'd only really get offal in this house to eat. I've just finished "treat processing' the last of the pork liver & now I've moved on to the beef livers.

Always DA. I've run out of "Pooch" & people are now "lining up" for when I get the "round" out. The roo I've just put on the menu for sale is (dare I ? ) hopping at the door faster than I expected & I'm getting a bit of "When ya gettin' some goat on the menu ?" Life is good.

Sounds like you are busier than usual, which is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I got the impression things have been going better, and that makes me feel good too.

Yes, staying VERY busy (until I can't work any more at night & have to go to bed) has been the key to getting myself settled & back into some sort of routine. Knocking that first dog club session for the year over on Sunday was a relief as well. I read what Occy had to say about her own dog club with interest this morning. Just shows the attitude is at pretty much every club. Had foils done yesterday, so that makes my hair look less like an old lady & cheered me up a fair bit. Off to see a head doc early next month to see if we can shift thought patterns that have been ingrained for over 50 years. You've been a wonderful support to me through all of this ... but you already knew this.

getting your hair done always makes one feel great IMO. Especially when zi can't see the grey any more!

Re Occy's thread - I agree. problem is that explains life IMO. No matter where you go or what you do, there's always someone with an attitude and more. I once knew a wonderful doctor who taught me this slogan: "Never put yourself down, cause there will always be other bastards out there trying to do it anyway."
