Last Saturday night me & OH went to bed at 10pm and didn't wake up til 9:30am the next day - it was heaven! Most sleep I've had in a long long time!

    Sleep? Thats my hobby! :]
UGH. Mollie kept me up till 12am last night, all playful and vibrant and eager for me to throw her toys for her. && Then of course, when I got up at 6am to let her out of ehr crate and outside to do her business o.O Whats that? Like 6hrs sleep?

I couldnt do that again. I LOVE sleeping in.

Same here - alarm goes off at 5am, the other night I was studying (so therefore lost track of time) and look up and it was 12.15. Sooooooo tired!

I actually don't like to sleep in, I always feel worse when I wake up, although I'm not sure why. But I do need to start going to bed earlier.

I am so happy, nearly in tears.
My bestfriend, John is a DADDY! Krystal (Of whom, I am good friends with also) had her son a few days ago and she got to bring him home today! Yes, they are VERY young, but I am so happy for them and I know they love eachother

I'll give it awhile for everything to calm down, then I am gunna have to have a hold of little JJ! (John Junior )

Grrrrr, Pretty is in season so can't be desexed Tuesday. At least Boris is 3km away, will have a hard eye kept on him and she is well looked after here, no male dogs for a long way off too thank dog or she would be permanently inside and only out on a lead to pee. I did ask FIL did he want Boris to take her appointment and he said no, double grrrr.

First dog school attendance today by myself & the 2 young 'uns since club broke up last year & it resumed at the beginning of this month. Quite nervous about making myself go, but I can't be a hermit forever & dosed myself up on Rescue Remedy before I left the house. Good classes for both dogs. Instructors were nice. Got helpful & constructive criticism on a few "finessing" points with Spirit & I from a fellow trialler that was instructing to help us get max points when we start trialling again. It's all starting to come back to me now .... and this is how taking a class should be .. fun with constructive advice by the instructor that doesn't beat the handler up about what an idiot they are ... that attitude is so not helpful in getting the best out of the "partnership" between dog & handler.

Spirit & I also worked in the training ring without food one-on-one with a guy that's training to be a VCA judge (being a judge is a big deal in the obedience trialling world. They can "make you or break you".). The "crones" I've spoken about previously were a standing outside the ring in a "watchful gallery" while Spirit & I were working. Some of our work was sensational, especially Spirit's off lead recall. The chap said "That was faultless. Perfect score in my book." for the recall when he came back & handed Spirit's lead to me. In my mind I was thinking when I saw all the crones standing outside the ring watching us at that point "Bewdy. Up yours Ladeez."

DA ... you would have been right chuffed with me today with how I handled things. I was scared sh!tless, but I "Felt the fear & did it anyway".

And just to give me a bit more confidence that I'm not just "overly sensitive, whiney & precious" ..... when classes had finished, I went up to the club rooms & there was this chappie who did not like the dressing down he got from the instructor who took my grade 4 class with Spirit & I .... and man ... was he "going for it" with the Head Instructor. In amongst the arguing I heard "Arrogant prick" (referring to the instructor) by the male handler. So glad I wrote that letter at the end of last year now & handed it in instead of being hot headed, ill prepared & some what "girlie & emotional". You were right Di.

I'll take it week by week, but so far .... I got left alone today to just train my girls without any sarcastic barbs. I had a nice time being instructed with respectful comments by the instructors & I had fun with my girls.

Aww, I am soooooooooooooooooo happy. Yep - very chuffed. Truthfully - proud of you, GSD's!!!!!!!!!

What agreat start to the year. Wow, by the sounds of it that bloke wasn't pulling any punches. You're right, doesn't make him look good in front of anyone, so I think Di's suggestion of a letter was the most mature, elegant way of doing things.

I can soooooooooooo hear you saying in your head
    "up yours ladeez!"
