Good Lord, and all of this to a complete stranger.

Then again, it's often easier being able to get it all out to a complete stranger than to ppl we know. Who knows, you might have helped him, albeit even by just listening.

complete strangers tend to be less biased.

Then again they may still say what you don't want to hear.

I think I'll turn in for the night now. Looks like dog class is off tomorrow - too Effin HOT and humid with it, hockey might be out the window too. Sigh. And wednesday is looking iffy too for agility. We keep doing little bits of practice but we're not reliable yet. Mind you competition dogs are not all reliable either.

I remember the heat in Adelaide. It nearly killed me. I felt I couldn't breathe, literally, and my throat was being burnt whever I spoke or took a breath. Not a good memory. Hope it cools down for you soon.

Yeah sometimes being outside is like stepping into a hot oven.

Today it's more humid so everything is wet and sticky as well as stinky hot. Even Darwin doesn't get this hot and humid. Expecting cooler weather Saturday - a chilly 29'C, sigh.

And in winter it's so bloody cold I used to get sick all the time and lived on antibiotics and spent my nights with my feet on oven-heated bricks. Ghastly. Beauitful churches though, loved the tram at Glenelg, the markets in the city and simply adore the Barossa Valley. Mind you, that was back when I drunk and you were allowed to drink your merry way around the valley. Thinking back, dangerous!!!

This arvo / evening - just bluddy hot and windy.

Night all (as soon as I check that whatever it is attached to my profile).

By the time I got to dog oval for doggy walk - it was dark but it was still hot. I hosed Frosty with water before we left but she was nearly dry by the time we got there 5 minutes later.

Hi puggerup - friend - if I poked the right buttons...

I can't walk when it's really hot, not in the sun at all, and I didn't walk much. Mostly stood around chatting while Frosty wrestled with her friends, the naughty beagle and the extra wiggly lab (x kelpie?), and the fox terrier...

But there was no way Frosty was going to let me stay home. She was all over me. Bark fest too. I listened to a recent "all in the mind" ABC Radio National podcast about brain cells regenerating and apparently - not crosswords but walking is really good.

    Hi Puggerup

It's the same system of brain chemistry you get that means walking acts as an anti depressant. More Seratonin basically - from increased circulation and a bunch of other things. Now I guess I will have to go find the link to the podcast, Sigh and I thought I was going to do some s l e e p i n g.
