I don't like the ones that are overly sparkly. I don't like ones with small writing either. My eyesight is bad enough (and I'm a naughty girl and don't wear my glasses like I should)

Simple yet catchy is what I like...

$'s are a bit problem ATM. I've got banner advertising on another forum. A friend has got me a list of orgs I need to contact & I'm working my way through them. Attending trade show etc are a bit of a problem because I have to have my bum on the chair as much as possible making the treats. SPRV did me a huge fav last Dec by taking some of my treats & selling them for me on their stand. She was brilliant & I really appreciate all her effort. I gave prizes for the last comp here & it got me a little "action". I like DA's bumper sticker idea for the reason she gave .... moving bill board.

GSD what about giving a couple of packs to your local training school for them to use in class?

Hmm, haven't thought that far ahead. Web site addy & maybe my "slogan" .... "For the gourmet in every dog". For those of you who know my web site ... my white paws ??

I'm getting the web addy put on the back of my car window as soon as I get a sec & the same place does bumper/window stickers. I did have car magnets for the side doors, but some rick (with a silent "P") pinched one while the car was parked in a car park. Can't get around with just one ....

What ideas do you have for a proposed possible bumper sticker GSD's???

    Any design coming to mind?
You're a gem DA. You know I think very highly of you.

Over the many years I've been doing this, I've found that people don't appreciate stuff they get for free, especially at dog clubs, trade shows etc.

Example .... I got hardly any FU orders from the treats I donated for the comp on this forum ...actually, I don't think I got any. I've made a few very lovely clients (& now friends) just by chatting on the forum. "Healthy4paws" has been the latest person to ask about what I do & she came I picked up treats the other day. My biggest "pick ups" have been via word of mouth referrals.

People like the fridge magnets, so DA thought "How can we extend on that idea ?"

I like the idea of opening up the discussion on what people want to see on a bumper sticker. I did the same thing for the fridge magnets & the one all the clients chose is an absolute ripper. I love it.

I know. And you know that the feeling is very mutual.

Seriously, what does some twit get from stealing someone else's car magnet? I had my real estate side door magnets stolen once, but at least the mongrel took both. Obviously someone was drunk and had some fun, or alas, some home owner somewhere was pissed off with me! lol.

    But why take one? Morons.

I think you've got to find something that will appeal to all types of dog owners, and that's the hard part.

DA very kindly suggested I look into getting bumper stickers done to hand out as well. I think it's a terrific idea. What does everyone else think please ?
Absolutely BRILLIANT idea! Be prepared to have a tonne more orders coming through as well, will pm you with some details. These won't be placed by me but it's definitely a giant LEAP in the right direction for you

maybe some dog tags with something similar to the slogan 'im a whitebix kid' but in a dog treat version...to be sent out with the treats.

    am i making sense?
I'm in for dog tags! Batty is coming with me everywhere and the first thing nearly everyone does is look at the tags on his collar LOL!

Actually one of my best friends is a marketing guru/copywriter. He's brilliant! Has done more for my business in the last 3 months than I'd managed to do in the 9 prior to that. I've shown him GSD's website, what the product is like and explained to him why the treats are SO good! Not being a doggy person he was at a bit of a loss until I explained some of the issues with the commercial ones!

I'll have to look into this dog tag idea as well as the bumper sticker then. If you can give me a web address or something to look at, I'd be appreciative.

Will your marketing friend give my biz a bit of a going over then ??
