    Default I"m Back!

OK, I received a couple of messages from two members {you know who you are} & read some replies to my "bye" thread & from what I have read I have decided to stick around. Some of you are right, I guess I do come across as hostile at times & yes, I'm not too experienced at the whole forum thing. I will try to be less hostile in future. Aussiemyf7, your the only one still bagging me, why? I never said I am an expert trainer, far from it. I still have plenty to learn & while ever I think that way I will continue to become a better trainer everyday. I"m sorry to those who doubt me however I am NOT a liar!! I have done everything I said I have here, what, you dont think training dogs for ten years under a man who has trained in several European countries with enormous success that I learnt nothing what so ever?? As for the terrible thread I started on Aussie war widows, I was just asking for opinions, not hate mongering. Did people miss the part where I told of my best mate in Sydney, Yahzed, Lebanese & Muslim!!!! I thought that would show I am far from Racist.... Anyway, thanks to those who gave support, to the nasty ones out there, I take your comments the same way I would someone farting on a bus, its there & I can smell the crap but it eventually goes away

I think I replied in that war widows thread, was it one about the hate mail they received?

I think my reply was along the lines of having had a serving son in Iraq and being appalled that if he had been killed, the hurt this would have caused his wife and us. If this is the thread spoken about I had no problems with it at all, saw no racism. To me it was a discussion started about letters, not the races they came from but the letters themselves. If I am talking about the wrong thing altogether then just ignore the first part of my Post.

Mal, yes boards bring out the best and worst in people. The trick is to yes have your own opinions, views, debate them with others but don't bring personal insult into it.

eg," I find your viewpoint is moronic" is far better than saying "you are a moron" It is keeping personalities out of it whilst still getting your point across.

The above has not been said but is used as my example to illustrate my point.

Things like ...learn to read your dog....where is the help in that? Seems like just a put in derisive post. Possibly ..Learn to read your dog, an example given, maybe a link is a far better way to contribute to a forum.

If we were in a room together and you said that in a convo that then leaves the person to ask how or to discuss ways they are doing it. A forum does not have that luxury, nor the luxury of seeing expressions and body language. Type is a very flat medium.

A suggestion may be to use the emoticons if you feel a statement may be taken as harsh.

Eg...Di, you are talking out your bum.....can be taken badly then by me if I wanted to, wheras

Di, you are talking out your bum can soften it if it is a softer form that you wish to say it in if it is not too heated...hope you are getting my long winded way of explanation. Not everyone will ever see eye to eye on a topic, just like in real life.

Anyway, Kudos to you for learning and coming back. Everyone deserves a second chance.

    Welcome back M72

I read & replied to your thread about "War Widows" & i'm not racists either,(ffs i married a euro & gave birth to he's 2 kids) i just think that the "old white Australia policy/ law" for all ( regardless of race, religion, age, sex etc) should be the way to go, deport any immigrant that refuses to be an Aussie, refuses to obey the rules/laws or shows disrespects others.

Thankyou, Both you & Aussiefloyd got my reason for the war widow thread, couple of others took it as hate mongering!!! Beats me, anyway, I have taken your advice on board. I have a feeling I will find it useful!

Do you not think war widows post was deleted for a reason! And yet you feel the need to bring it up again. Even when Choppa asked me what post was deleted i thought it prudent to reply via pm so as not to bring up the subject again.

To the others who did not see the thread some of the answers were very inflammatory, hence the very swift deletion my Morgan. I'm sure it would not have got deleted for no reason. And i still maintain your original post, Malinois, was misleading and not factually correct.

I'm afraid i think they amount to the same thing, why can't it just be I disagree with your viewpoint.

Not sure what you class as inflammatory!!!!! but imo what the offender did as in writing & posting hate mail to deceased Australian service personal" families was bloody disgusting & not called for. As an Aussie be dammed if i'm going to sit back & take shit from any immigrant..
