    Default Bye

Just wanted to let you all know I"m leaving. For those who think I know nothing, look at my animals again, I do care for my animals even though some of you think I"m an asshole! Thankyou to everyone who has been nice. Hey, aussiemuf, how can you defend a breed you have never owned, I dont understand that one. Then I get aussiemum ripping into me, what did I say to personnally offend you??? I have been called a pit-bull hater & a bad breeder by people who dont even know me!!! Fair? I think not. I"m not going to abuse anyone, even though I"m pissed off with some of you. If Choppa chop can be civil to me after I posted about pit-bulls then what is wrong with the rest of you?? I thought forums were a place to share opinions & knowledge or is that only if you agree with the majority {sheep?} Anyway, your all now free to bag the shit out of me, enjoy! P.S. dont worry aussiemum, the door never hits me, ever......... Strange that a vet I know tried to warn me away from this forum.

A flouncing post just proves us right, that you can not see any points but yours and get so offended and stand on your dignity with ruffled feathers, huffing and puffing in self important outrage. You said you were leaving in the other thread, so why not just quietly leave? Nothing like a good flounce to try and gain more attention.

I think I missed something?? Sorry you feel that way. I am not sure I could be included as I can't really recall conversing with you? But maybe I am wrong.

Internet forums can be nasty places. People are more open to offering their opinion behind a wall of anonymity.

As I am opinionated, and strongly so, I have had people call my workplace trying to get me into trouble, I have received nasty emails and had slanderous staements made about my rescue and I am currently seeking legal advice on a group of people who choose to harrass me on a private internet forum that I can not gain access to in which to defend myself.

The dog forum world, and I assume others as well, is a nasty, petty and disgusting place at times. Stay strong, take a break when you need away from the action when it gets too nasty, and remember to try and keep it in perspective (which is hard sometimes I know myself). These forums and the opinions expressed are just anonymous people who really mean nothing to your life and who know nothing about your life.

    I agree Anne.

The thing is...he was the one being rude. All I did was defend someone he was belting down on.

This is the post where I seemed to have trod on his toes.....

I saw your response to MYF in another thread and not once did you offer any of your 'experience' or 'knowledge' to her thread...just a blunt response of "learn to read your dog". This forum is here for ALL dog ppl...not just the experienced! How can ppl learn if the educated trainers like yourself treat ppl like dumb dumbs who shouldn't even own a dog?
Dogs are a family pet...ppl breed their dogs to sell to nice little families...so how are we (families) ment to learn anything when we just get shot down for asking other's for advise
If that's called "ripping into him"..then he should stay away from that other dog forum.

Yes, when it gets down to personal abuse that is when I draw the line. There is no need for that. When another poster and I were in a heated opposite discussion neither of us brought personal references into it. We are all free to attack or defend opinions but to my mind a line has to be drawn.

The problem is i think some people are unable to put their point of view without resorting to insults. I'm afraid Malinois seems to be one of those people. He was definitely the first one to start hurling insults saying Myf's post was 'Silly'. Oh He did say he honestly meant no offence but IMO when you see "No offense, but...." it is usually followed by an insult. If no offense is meant then don't call someone silly.

Better off without people like that i reckon

Don't even get me started on another post he made that was quickly deleted by Morgan!!!

Thanks Chops. I've been flavour of the month for some years though by a select few.

I find those that like to dump on others freely usually fit the following description - fat, frumpy and with nothing meaningful to do in their life. Being the 'bullies' on an internet forum is their way of feeling that they are important.

I have arguments and debates on forums and that is where it ends. The vindictiveness shown by some though is apalling.

To be honest, I know I am one like this. I try not to and I know it doesn't win me many friends. I am getting far better though as I recognise my debating style is a little too much at times. In person, I am not that pushy...still opinionated but not in such an arrogant way I guess.
