Rotten 29yo son whom I had driven to stay with in Sydney the night before was informed that I had not quite decided to do the costume at his place or in the loo of the airport.
He was to be driving me to the train station for the half hour trip to the airport and he replied..."mum, either way would be normal."
Sigh...see what I mean about immune?

Thanks, I think he finally became totally immune on his 21st birthday. He was in the Army reserve, out on a weeks training exercise around Orange (in July, Brrrrrr)

It took some doing but I managed to get a photo through the chain of command out there to be presented to him by the Corp.

It was a pic of him peeing in a bucket at about age 2. On the back was written..

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Mummy can get you anywhere, any time.

He said he LOVED it, it was a terrific moral booster for all of them after a very hard day.
He said when he was called out of line and he saw something in the Corp's hand, he immediately thought that I had "got" him, hahahahahha.
