    thanks hun for answering the q's!!! very interesting but still keeping my distance...

    Do you need to alter their enclosures like we do with snakes or do you just let them alter themselves?? Obviously they are warm blooded (from your comment about limb movement which is amazing!)

    How much does a T or other go for when purchased (glad to read you didn't allocate from the wild!)

    I just let them arrange the enclosure themselves, the enclosure only needs to be fully cleaned out about every two years, they dont make much mess. An instar {baby spider} sells for around $70 or $80, where a fully grown female can sell for $500!! As far as moving the spider goes, I"m very good at getting them in a container while I clean the enclosure. I have found it is better to just get right in there & do it, no hesitation, a nervous Tarantula is a dangerous Tarantula!!!
