    Default Sewing

OK so I've decided to try my hand at making dog collars. The first problem I've run into is my lack of skill on a sewing machine
I got a machine off ebay a few months and I can count the number of times I've used it on one hand.

My problem is while it stiches on the top of the collar look good (well passable) the underneath is a mess.
My partner and I are thinking the tension on the bobbin is out but we dont know how to fix it.

Does anyone have any hints on how to fix this?

If you excuse the dodgy stiching my first attempt at a plain ajustable collar arn't too bad

Other half managed to fix the problem, should I be worried my boyfriend knows more about sewing machines than I do

LOL usually the messy underside is when it's not threaded properly, or when you don't move both threads to the back when you sew.

My husband can sew too LOL they are true know-it-alls. Ask him about tampons and he'll be an expert on that too HAHA
