One of the sadder ones was about one of our pups Maddie. I had given her a bath a day earlier and for some reason I didn't take her collar off when I did it. Anyway that day we were sitting out the front yard and I was trying to get her to walk up the stairs, she wouldn't go and I thought she was just being silly so pulled her up to the top (I was only young and stoopid lol) anyway when we got to the top I realised she couldn't actually move her back legs. Turns out that she has a paralysis tick under her collar that if I had of taken it off of her when I bathed her we would have found it. By the time we had discovered the tick it was too late, since we didn't have much money we couldn't take her to the vet so had to watch her suffer. The saddest thing was leaving for school on her last day knowing that was the last time I would see her alive.

Another one, we had a Stafforshire Bull Terrier named Jarrah, he was a gorgeous but crazy little boy who would sleep on my bed every night with me. He went missing one day, we thought he must have been stolen. Some time later I was walking through our paddocks and could see something black in the distance, at first I didn't think anything of it but thought I should go and see if it is a kangaroo or something. It wasn't and turned out to be Jarrah. We aren't sure what killed him but there was a bitch on heat on the next property over so we thought he must have been going for a wonder. He was one of my favourite dogs I have owned.
I am so sorry to hear these sad stories. They both sounded like amazing pets. I hope you don't have as much bad luck these days.

OK, lol, my boyfriend has gone interstate to work for two nights and 3 days and I miss him heaps (sad for an ex defence spouse who could go two months with out hearing from my ex husband), anyway, I put him on loudspeaker so Oskar could hear his voice lol. Oskar just looked at the phone confused and licked it haha!! Sooo cute lol. I am sorry, I am just not good with sad stuff.

I have a story of when i was about 14/15 year's old(?) I had three cats and two dogs. I lived with my mum (of course) and my step dad max, After after a while things between them weren't going to well. Obviously i didn't know this because i was so young but it was like one minute everything was fine and then the next minute it wasn't and one day my step dad just chose to leave. So here was mum and i in a big brand new four bedroom house that they have built for us to be a family in with a caravan, big car, big shed. (Mum bought all these things because she had a pay out from injuring herself from work) After max left we couldn't afford to live there anymore. We had to get rid of pretty much everything. The house, the car, the caravan.... And unfortunately my pets. It happened so suddenly i didn't even know what was really going on. So mum took our two dogs and my two cats to Melbourne and put them in a shelter to find new homes. Leaving us with mum's cat because she was so timid and scared of everything. re homing her would of traumatized her. We ended up in a two bedroom unit with the cat. I still occasionally cry over having to have my Tiger (cat) rehomed. i slept with him every night and he was my baby. That all happened in 2005- start of 2006.
