Default Anyone Have a Dog with Strange Tastes?

Zeke decided to try and munch his way in the house last night while I was talking to my husband on the phone (I am away with work atm), so I told the OH to grab some vinegar and wipe it on the door to discourage him, OH couldn't find vinegar so he used Wasabi paste, Zekes reaction was to then lick every last bit of wasabi paste that he could find, glad I am not doing dogie lawn patrol atm

Zeke also loves to lick lemons and limes, found that out when we had friends around and he decided to be a sneaky little bugger and grab one of each from the bin, the bin is now in a cupboard as he loves investigating it. I also have a cat that will search in my handbag for any lollies that may be in there and she LOVES to lick the plastic wrap off new cd's and also shopping bags vet has no idea why . The other cat (Beelzebub in a fur coat) prefers to open the pantry doors and self serve we have had to put child locks on all doors and cupboards now as she also unlatches the locking system on screen doors and will open sliding windows if they are not key locked.

Anyone else have strange dog or animals with odd tastes or behaviours?

My dog likes chilli. She loves promite on toast. A lot of other dogs at the park turn away in disgust when they find out what the going treat is.

Two things Zeke hates are chilli and Vegemite but he loves fresh pumpkin cubes cut up as treats, lol the dogs in the park would get a surprise as well as the owners. I hate giving treats to Zeke at the dog parks because there are a few around that are just let loose and will nose in and become agro now we take him when no one is around because he loves to climb on the agility equipment he sits on top of the narrow walk thing (sorry can you tell we haven't had much to do with agility lol) after going up the ramp and smiles, then runs down to do it again.

Frosty likes cooked pumpkin or sweet potato but not raw. She will eat carrot raw or cooked.

The narrow plank walk thing is called "the dog walk" so you were nearly there.
The big upside down V thing is called "the A frame" or "the Scramble". I call both "up up" when I'm telling my dog what to do. And hopefully if some mean judge puts them next to each other eg one is a trap for the other, she will go up the one I point at.

Thanks Hyacinth now I know what its called hehe I hope that your girl follows signal for you when that happens although I think I would give the judge a signal of my own

Zeke really loves the dog walk and will spend 20+ minutes going up sitting and then coming back down of his own volition totally ignores every other dog around him, he also loves climbing stairs and will sit on every second one and "grin" at us

Pumpkin, strawberries, tomato flesh, watermelon and carrot he loves pretty much anything raw, and cooked or otherwise he likes most but the lemon, lime and wasabi have to be the oddest things he likes to eat.

Trouble is Frosty is great friends with most of the judges, they give her treats at training. So if I pointed in any way at the judge, she'd view that as permission to go say hello.
