Banjo will sometimes get her own bedding to lie on. She does this at a friend's place. They have a kennel for a JRT that she can only just stick her head in. So she will drag an old jumper out of it, carry it to the lawn and then curl up on it and go to sleep.

At 3.00am, I awoke to a dark figure lurking over me.I wondered in my sleepy somber... if i was looking at the usual intruder or was it a stranger.??? I could hear his heavy breathing before he leans in and licks me on the neck......yuk.....The following headbutt and wet nose confirmed i was assualted in my sleep by a Bullmastiff again.

Hahaha I've been letting my two sleep next to my bed since the OH has been away. I've been waiting for this to happen! lol

Nash does this - when we go walkies, I usually wear 3/4 length cargo pants so my calves are showing. As we walk along, at some point on the walk Nash will look up happily at me, then look to my calf, time his stride with mine, and press his nose to my calf (in mid-walk) and then just continue on as usual.
It's like he is giving me a doggy kiss in the only spot he can reach...lol... well, that is my anthropomorphic take on it

any other theories on that one?!

Aww cute (not the slobber though lol).

Not really odd, but something that always makes me laugh. When I get up at night to get something from the kitchen Banjo will often follow me and she will walk so close behind me that when I suddenly stop, she'll just walk into the back of my legs.

Nash is "nesting" .... every time he gets his ball, squeaker, rawhide bone etc, he runs off to his bed with them and dumps them there. Then sometimes he uses his nose to press his items down into the bed. He'll run off and do other things, then sometimes come back to check on his items and do another nose press on them ... I have asked other people if their dogs do the nose press on their belongings and no one else seems to have seen it before.

I will be sitting down, or doing something where my legs or feet are exposed, and Oskar will just start licking my legs or feet for a little bit, then just walk off and do something else lol. He's a funny pooch!

Nash, I have seen dogs trying to bury toys or food in bedding. But never just pressing their nose on it. Sounds very cute.
