Thread: Chuckie Little Dog with Huge Heart.

Default Chuckie Little Dog with Huge Heart.

Chuckie came to live with us last year when he was at the pound & his owners asked if I'd pay fees & take him home. I need another poodle x like a hole in the head but couldn't say no, he's just sooooo little. He looks like a small toy poodle just his ears are to small & set on wrong so I am guessing a silky cross due to his ears but old owner says Maltesse x, anyway he's all of 2kgs yet thinks he will take Bubba on my adult TM, lol. I thought he'd come good after desexing but allas he is still busy marking & growling at any other male dogs but maybe it will just take longer for his hormones to settle down.
On Wednesday I found a good home for him & they are rapt but this morning at dawn Chuckie was barking at my gate. Turns out he shot through when the hubby was on his way out to walk his GSD & would not come back.
Now I am about to return Chuckie & worry I am doing the wrong thing by him even though I know he's not able to stay her forever. He's just a sweety & it hurts to have to hand him over twice I guess.

    Well Chuckie update.
I sent me back & he returned so is now a permittant pack member as I just can't take him back again when he so obvously want to be with us.
He really is the funniest little fellow & his silly ears just add to his humrous looks. I have had a big chat with him about growling at Bubba & he is getting better, god love him. He really is the saying it's not the size of the dog in the fight but the fight in dog that counts, he's just so full of himself. I think he really has no idea he's a total runt.
Anyway new pack member Chuckie now has is forever home(god help me) & I will put a pic up as soon as I can get 1 to upload.
