Default Never a Dull Moment Around Here

With 6 dogs you get lots of love, and lots of mischief making and rarely a dull moment.

Last night the puppies who are still in the kitchen of a night due to lack of a kennel for them in the dog run (poor hubby, his jobs list just keeps growing) had a cry, which is most unlike them and then Moo jumped the baby gate and ran into our room & you guessed it straight up on hubby, she was returned twice by hubby and on the third time I took her and her sister outside to the toilet (even though the back door is cracked) and also to investigate why one of the older dogs was making a funny barking noise.

And there it was, a rabbit on the top lawn, a big rabbit, lots of white (domestic x wild) it scuttled off into the garden, Tilly stopped her funny barking and I took the puppies back inside and they went to bed. No further noise from them.

Mumbled to hubby it was just a rabbit, he mumbled back something along the lines of "great Whippets, scared of a little wabbit".

Really I think it was Tilly's strange quiet barking that had upset them, but Hubby couldn't hear that, he sleeps like a typical man.

Then not long ago I'm cleaning toilets, Mickey brings me a golf ball, unbeknownst to me, (don't ask me where he found one, we don't play golf), he drops it on the tiles for me and you guessed it, it bounced and landed in the toilet right as I flush the toilet.

I'm thinking, please do not flush and get stuck, please do not flush and get stuck, all the while visions of hubby pulling apart the enviro system to retrieve the lodged golf ball.

    Phew, it didn't flush.

Don't think I'll tell him about that mishap.

You could always tell hubby that Mickey got a hole in one!
