Default Tilly a Day in the Life

A day in the life of Tilly the blind doggie

Tilly will usually wake up around 7am and will be in her corner of the lounge room waiting for Ken. She'll wag her tail madly when she knows he's coming in from the bedroom. Tilly can't see now but she can sure use her snffer!

Then she usually goes out to do her business, and comes back in again to have breakfast.

After that Ken will set the bird ready as he looks after a blue Quaker parrot called Nessie. Nessie and Tilly have been friends from day one and that's why Tilly lives there instead of here with her partner Jimmy the green Quaker parrot.

Nessie will call for Tilly and Tilly will sometime answer, she'll have a sniff around the cage. Then its off to the outside aviary and she'll pinch the apple bits out of the bird feed. She'll also see if she can sniff out any mice but usually the mice are too quick for her if there are any

If the boys Ken and his father have to go out for the day to the farm, Tilly keeps Shirl company and will snooze the afternoon away or play a game of fetch.

She's all excited when the boys come home again, and yodles like she is trying to talk to you. Ken will have his dinner and will have a catch up talk with his mother. And then takes Tilly for her walk, she loves her walks like anything and spins in circles on the lead.

That is a day in a life for Tilly ^^

    Awww what a beautiful dog!

The poor thing, if only the blindness could have been given to a dog who deserved it!

I'll have to try to get a photo of Jack with Tilly, normally Tilly isn't good with kids
as she hasn't grown up around them but Jack is great with her and they seem to have an understanding of one another.

    Hey all,
Only one thing to say: Dogs and little kids.
Buster goes running down the beach trying to knock the poor things over!
