We have found that a woolly sock in the gob will make our two run around in circles
madly as if they've just won Tattslotto.
But then our mutts are quite likely retarded.

I like the tennis ball idea from Hya. I reckon that should work on 9 out of 10 dogs.

Well after a few months mainly working in the gas plant i'm back in the tanker for a 5 week stint .... as of yesterday.

Loving it too. Good to be out and about again and dealing with all the cool hounds ...and the not so cool hounds.

Today was pretty good. A friendly Border Collie who never made a peep or even looked worried about the stranger in the yard and a scruffy xbreed who somehow stuck his head through a hole in the fence so small i was sure he was going to be stuck there LOL

But yesterday i came across 2 Ridgebacks ...on the other side of a high meshed fence thank dog..... The sign said 'Declared Menacing Dogs' and bloody hell , they where not joking. These 2 would have eaten me for sure if they could have reached me. Bit of a reality check to be honest. I get a bit cocky thinking i can handle vicious dogs but even if i sprayed these dogs with the gas i reckon they wouldnt have stopped. The speed, the agression ...even the noise they made all made me pretty nervous. I didnt make eye contact with them .... just silently prayed that fence was up to the job of keeping them in their own yard. I hope a kid like my curious dog loving daughter never reaches over or through that fence to pat the doggy's !!!

Im sure many have thought similarly about your lads sean. And my 3. They can and do, look scary at times to those they dont know.

And nicely handled with no eye contact. Very wise sir, under the circumstances.
came in here looking for a tonic dog story, this does very nicely indeed. Made me laugh. You are so gonna cop it one of these days lol
