Thread: I cropped Phi's ears!

  1. #1

    Default I cropped Phi's ears!

    With a photo editor LOL

    I always wondered what she would look like with cropped ears, so thought I would have some fun with a photo editor. The first one I think looks pretty legit, the second not so much haha.

    Haha it suits her well! It's amazing how it can change a dogs physical appearance though, from a floppy ears softy to a tough looking dog! Lol

    There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face.

    Totally agree. A few people have said to me in the past how scary Phi looks, and I could never see it, lol too me she is a big softy. But with "cropped" ears she does actually look a little scarier lol.

    Agree - Cropping it will give the dog more an aggressive look, I like the first Photo than the second.

    Lol she's not scary! Hahaha I still think I prefer natural ears though, it gives the dog character.

    I almost fell off my chair when I read the title of this thread... thanks goodness it's just digital! I actually thought to myself "You did WHAT??!!"

    Nekhbet, can you please expand on why you think docking and cropping is useful? {I am so hoping that your statement is either a button or a herring}

    i'd really appreciate you expanding on that comment if you were serious. I'm far from any expert so i'm willing to listen. I grew up on a farm so docking lambs tails and such i know the benefits for them, however i need to be convinced for dogs(and admitedly i'm only thinking about the common breeds that have tails docked or ear cropped).
