ok so for those who've read the earlier pages in this thread :

this was a clip i took the night before taking him to the vet. He wasn't constantly like this but he had several bouts of this :

hope that kinda makes you realise why i thought he was on his way out

Aw poor little guy you can see him looking a bit bewildered too. Is it still happening?

lately although he's still not quite right he's showing really good signs that he's headed back to full health. Its so strange cause he went like that then came partially good and then went back to almost that bad and then came partially good again. Has been like that since last october or november when i first posted about his issues, but seriously hte last few days he's as good as i've seen him since. He has spent a good hour playing ball and although he has his own rests on his way back, he hasn't looked like he's been really knackered either day, so fingers crossed at this stage

looking at this pic again, it clearly shows the damage tennis balls do to dogs teeth! check his top canines! i've changed to rubber balls now, they're better anyway as they bounce better and jack loves catching a bouncing ball as opposed to picking up a ball off the ground

I can see why you where worried about him. I'd be freaking out if my bloke was breathing like that !!

Super stoked that he's doing better now. Hope he keeps it up.

Man he must have given those tennis balls a hiding to do that damage to his teeth!!!!
